SOMETHING IS LACKING IN THIS TECHNIQUE, CHECK OUT MARTYZ AND OR JUSTINSANDERCOE! SORRY DUDE BUT FACT IS V=FACT AND I APPRECIATE YOU PUTTING THIS OUT THERE FOR FREE! GOD BLESS

  • i mean Einstien. misstype.

  • dude what ever any one says remember this, stevie ray vaun( hard name to spell) started out like me or you. practice makes perfect. "it takes a thousand hours of practice to master something." Albert Rinstien rock on

  • Thanks! Your help was valuable.

  • You should play the song i full (or at least the first part, then part by part) before you start teaching in, that way we know what it sounds like exactly before we play. Obviously everyone here knows the song, but I find that that helps me... Good stuff though.

  • PRS

  • you make it so hard sorry :/

  • Sound: how much distortion did you use?

  • AWESOME Blossom lesson bro, you definitely keeping Rock Alive..........by far the most informative lesson on youtube......thanks much bro.......HARE KRISHNA.

  • DAT solo, I think I might be able to learn it :D

  • Ignore losers like this (VVVVVV), This helped me alot and is spot on.

  • dude ur tone deaf and your killing rock please stop now and do us all a favor

  • Awesome job, having the tabs on the screen helped a bunch

  • THANKS A LOT!!!!

  • AWESOME JOB MAN!!!! THANKS SOOOO MUCH ;-))))

  • Great job................

  • Great lesson! one addition though. In the solo, when it's time for the 5 bends at the 20th fret, hold the bend at 20 play it 3 times then 21 back to 20 and release bend. Spot on lesson otherwise. Thank you!!!

  • Thanks a lot dude. Please keep KeepingRockAlive.

  • Gret job bro. Love what your doing. Really helped me out with this one. Thanks

  • you have helped me ALOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks plz put more on thanks

  • It doesn't help when you explain where little not is just play slowly and show the tab

  • dude awesome lesson (thanks) but just one thing: when u play the whole riff altogether, play legato instead of staccato. it just sounds better.

  • none of these notes r right

  • @bmajor95 Did u tune it a have step

  • "Bend five times" *bends 6 times* Well done. Trying to keep us on our toes.

  • just wanna say big thanx my friend dont suppose you could do solo to j.cash folsom could you.as others have tried but your format is very good i normally learn from justinguitars but ty for yours

  • Dude just 3 words - you are awesome/ This helped really a lot, and I am wery gratefull to you, for making this kick ass lesson. Infact, the way you teach your lessons, is the best way it can be. Thank you again.

  • this helps alot

  • Appreciate the great video. Just picked up a new guitar, and am finally making myself get off my rear and really start learning full versions of songs instead of cheap simple chord renditions. Awesome video, a little above my level, but thats what practice and pause and replay are for. Thanks mate.

  • Thanks bro, I learned this AWESOME song --With your Lesson--... I can't tell you how much I appreciate it.

  • best thing i ever used the computer for was to download something called "guitar pro" its so amazing and works for all instruments. anyone serious about music should try it. it costs unless you get it illegally though..

  • best thing i ever used the computer for was to download "guitar pro" - soo amazing. much easier than watching someone on you tube. anyone serious about guitar should try it.

  • wow dude, that was great. i 'e been learning that song since last summer, but i never learned the solo. thanks

  • great vid man, helped me a lot on the solo cause sometimes you need to hear it to get the timing etc that you cant get from tabs so thanks for uploading! Also, people if you have ever made a vid he is probably just doing vibrato so you hear how each note individually sounds, plus its rather hard to talk over notes that are ringing out at times, im sure this guy knows you obviously hold down the chords to play the verses and chorus

  • hey dude great lesson its perfect. one thing though, when you play this song try to keep your fingers down on all the frets instead of just pressing each individual fret. so in other words let your guitar "ring"

  • first song i have tried. works well

  • I love you!!! Thank you so much for your lessons!

  • why are you playing the chords and each note staccato..let each not ring out

  • i'm not used to all the high fret bending and having a strat makes it harder :(

  • thx partner

  • excellent quick comprehensive lesson

  • Fucking awesome video...Keep it up your awesome !! :) I know all the song now...

  • Regarding the comment from gotdrums2412 I personally believe the lesson was great. I learned everything except the solo, kinda tough lol (which I am gonna work on though). Thanks, even though it was slow, it was really good because you're taking the time to explain it clearly, & the tabs were a great help too. New songs to teach, maybe Behind Blue Eyes by The Who, Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd, or something by The Rolling Stones?? Thanks again!

  • great video lesson, just next time try playin riffs together as you go, in other words dont explain so much before playing it

  • I think you did a great job. Keeping up with you would be great practice and you slow it down by stating notes so one can! Thumbs up!

  • awesome video man thanks helped out a lot solo part seems a bit tough though haha

  • It's a video you pussies. If he goes to fast then rewind it. It's not that hard to figure out.

  • Could have been a little slower for us who haven't played that much. Sounds good though. You're a hell of a guitar player. Do you have those tabs anywhere I could get them and print them off?

  • @fasttruck93l i wrote them down! took a while... but i did

  • teach too fast

  • by far one of the best lesson on youtube keep it up

  • You should use vibrato more often :p

    Nice tutorial

  • It's the best lesson that I have founded on youtube !!

    Thank You so much!!

  • great lessons but i like to play it on an acoustic instead of an electric

  • u go way to fast how do u expect us to learn

  • @ufc545 Just rewind it and write down the tabs

  • great lesson, it was just what i was looking for

  • Sounds just the original to me......good job

  • Souvds just like the original to me....good job.

  • @IxIFLASHxBANGIxI yes there is, it is the same as a G sharp.

  • @KeepingRockAlive Which is referred to as enharmonic notation. Idk if you knew or not, but if you did, sorry lol.

  • @IxIFLASHxBANGIxI your a dumb ass lol i bet your a 8 and just started

  • @MrSzalonypolak yah. I hate when people complain in the comments but don't know what they are talking about. Keep Rocking

  • @IxIFLASHxBANGIxI wtf????!!!!

  • man do u really have 2 tune it done thats suck a hastle

  • @tnt420tnt no, you don't have to but you would want to if you were going to play with the original recording, but it sounds fine without changing tunings.

  • @KeepingRockAlive alright ill do that thanks 4 the lesson it good

  • @KeepingRockAlive Great lesson but the intro is wrong, I came on this to learn the Chorus and solo (and I did so thanks a bunch mate :D) but yeah the intro is wrong (unless your putting your own style on it ofc)

  • @KeepingRockAlive its different than shine downs version but good lesson bro

  • @tnt420tnt lol of course not, and work on your grammar. its not even that much of a problem, just use the 4th fret and tune down to it.

  • @redslownight i duno its 2 much a hastle 2 me

  • @tnt420tnt well what I did was just transform it like 20=19 or 8=7 :)

  • @SicopataRxx what bout the open strings tho

  • @tnt420tnt no but it sounds better that way and is how it is originally played it also sounds good to me to play with a capo on the third or fifth fret when im just playin around

  • hmmm... the solo sounded a bit off but thanx still. this vid helped bunches

  • dude if you play the intro with the chords C, G, and Am it will be easier and sound better try it!

  • Thanks man, helped me alot

  • @ketchup895 I'm with you, I think this could be much better. I'm just here because there's 1 part of the solo that I learned from another tab that isn't right

  • just out of curiosity, do u have an ipod touch or iphone with ultimate guitar tabs on it?

  • this song is hard, how did you learn this.

  • abit hard

  • Great vid and one of the few really good lessons on youtube now, so kudos and thanks. I may have missed this so apologies if I have, but in the description it would be nice to see the key the song is in and what scales the solo is based around/their positions

  • great lesson! that's how video lessons

    should be.

  • You r playing it all wrong and ten times harder.U shouldnt take your fingers off just hold the chord the whole intro and the picking pattern is easy u should explain it like a pattern not like a solo.

  • @GodOfRock1990 He's playing it right but you are right, he does need to keep the chord staionary at certain times rather than playing it like a solo. Other than that good video. The intro is easy to learn if you play it as a pattern.

  • He's playing it right but your right about him needing to keep the chord held.

The vibrato on every string gets annoying lol nice vid. Although it was basically reading a tab and then playing the next note and moving on to the next note. Not very instructional. But 5 stars for taking the time to upload it.

The intro is very very easy to play if you make it into a pattern.

  • dude...best lesson ever. my only suggestion is to put the tabs on the screen below or above the guitar, so you can see you better. otherwise, awesome! great idea to timestamp chorus end, tell how many times play each part for song, etc. keep up the work...how about some sublime?

  • Tengo que darte las gracias por el gran trabajo que haces y lo facil que nos lo pones para poder aprender en todos tus videos, lo de la tablatura sobreimpresionada me parece una gran idea; enhorabuena.

  • Another outstanding lesson

  • Thanks. Keep Rocking

  • Can u do Mr.Brownstone by Guns N' Roses?Ur lessons r the best on utube

  • nice ax

  • KICK ASS!!how about a lesson for "on the hunt "next

  • Whoa, It's been awhile since the last video, no wonder this one sounds great.

  • thanks

  • Vids broken

  • Really? is it just not playing at all?

  • Its fine now
