After all the outrage, the Humane Society of the United States, made an investigation AND concluded that the dog was in a state of starvation when it was captured was only tied up for three hours on one day before it escaped after one day of captivity..★...While the petition "against him" has over 4million signatures, Guillermo Vargas has endorsed the petition, saying that he too, has signed it.... oh, and it was a one time thing...get real info!

it's a mistake i can't forgive him for myself..because every existence have the right of living,if they are animals or human or trees.

exactly, if anyone actually did any research on this. the guy did this to raise awareness. to raise a point. im not saying its right. but dogs like this starve and die everyday in 3rd world countries. unfourtunatly, this dog would have died either way. he wanted people to see it, to make a change. sometimes art is more then "a pretty picture" look at how much awarness this has gotten. maybe people will try to help the situation instead of just walking by. :)

If we sold death row shelter animals off as meat, we'd cut back on a whole lot of waste, and also maybe shelters can get money from it. It's practical. The man took a dog in off the street, surely people had seen the dog and were unwilling to help the dog until he brought it to their attention. If anything, he gave it shelter. A year ago I took a shelter dog,marked for euthanasia, and a rabbit, and before that I had seven dogs, five cats (all stray, found on the streets) and a raven, and I volounteer at a retirement home...at least I KNOW why I'm bitching...So how about stop being "clever" and answer my question - what did YOU do?

@Olimpia963 Well Olimpia, as well as with my own successes in animal welfare, I proposed that we seek to eliminate waste by donating our thousands upon thousands of euthanized pets to those poorer countries, as I'm sure they're none too discriminate about their animals and what deserves to be eaten, or KILLED for that matter... I see people every day, ignorant to the suffering of their own pets due to malnutrition. Many die by the time they reach me, you'll have to excuse my callousness here.

he didnt kill a dog. he caught a starving dog on the street, fed it, and tied it up for 3 hours. it didn't die, at least not while he had it. everyone freaked out when rumors leaked that he had killed a dog in the name of "art", which if he had, would have been terrible. but it DIDN'T happen. now everyone is condemning him to death and torture, just proving his point. people who know nothing about it are arguing what is "art" and what's not, and marking any comment against theirs as spam.
