Hey dude, AT 1:50 did one of the rear tyres lose traction? I cant work out why you couldn't slide forward on the nudge bar? I had my 05 forester in a similar situation and was able to push forward on jsut the rears.
No matter what car you drive, always good to have a Landrover at your side to help ya out of sticky situations. Dont get me wrong i drive a 2002Subaru forester S just always nice.
It was actually a winch extension strap in the first scene and towing the forester was the appropriate way in that situation. Also the snatch strap in the last scene was being used correctly, however thankyou for trying.
Great! You have a low range in Australia for the Foresters don't you? Here in Canada and US they don't get a low range, sadly...but still fun offroad.
Took mine thru the Ice & snow the other day late night not many cars people around & this car goes thru snow & Ice with nooooo problems & It rides low but still handles so tight! Jumped out of a snowed in parking space no problem & the guy behind me was spinning wheels a long time in a Van.
Hey. I have heaps of video of the landy, its a 92 defender 90, my bro has a late 70's series III, ill work on putting vids of both on my channel. Thanks for the comments.
yea... it didnt look like it could do hardly anythign.. all that stuff on there is little kitty stuff.. not makign fun of the car or anything.. but that bar in the front makes it look ugly in my personal opinion. if u think otherwise.. thats cool.
weel... the thing about the bar is true.... Subaru's have been criticized for being ugly.... which I personally have to go against. Subaru's are Uniquely Pretty, and bars in front are ugly for Subaru's
the bar thing is a catch 22...It looks ugly with it...but it would look even worse with the bumper ripped off. 1:52 you can see that the guard is whats keeping it from hitting the ground(or at least appears to be resting on the ground)
@thecarexpert Yeah, you are so right. I have a MY02 Forester, much like the one in this video except dark blue and I love the boxy shape of it. Its distinctive, you know its a subi. I hate the new shape ones, they just like most other cars. old subis are the best :)
Have the car...love it...The transition from front wheel drive & difference is great to 4 wheel drive. Handles the potholes fantastic in the city also with great control!!!
Nice video! I took the Subaru xs on a test drives on some of the worst rides & have to say this is a nice ride which can handle the roads very well, nice kick to the engine and decent look. I'm gonna buy it, put a brush guard on etc and enjoy the wheels...
oh kno bud, u check out my video, i broke my cv axle and my starter messed up, and i got sum mud all up in my engine look at my video i barley went thru any mud
great video!

Love the landy cameo. I own a Legacy myself, as well as a 78' series III Land Rover- both of which get a fair share of abuse in New England.
Good video.

Dude, that isn't really abusing, since Subaru's are supposed to be used like that. But, overdoing it is abusing.
It could've gone through that deeper mud if it had some bigger/better tires and a lift kit.....
