I've just had an idea:

In the flashsideways the Island is sunk under water (just like Flocke predicted!!). Despite the fact that it is another reality, all whats left over of the statue is its foot.

That leads to two different opinions:

1) It was the statue's destiny to be crushed (by whatsoever)

2) The Black Rock smashed the statue anyway. (I like this much more..)

Would option 2 mean that what happened BEFORE the black rock happened anyway OR was Richard killed instead of being freed by MIB?

Due to my cognitive approach I see Jack as a more confident guy in the original situation than the new from the sideways

- in the original Jack reasures Rose that everything will be fine

the dharma initiative didnt get blown up it was just an "incident" as explained by candle/halliwax in the swan station video.

ben is teaching because in this timline everything is different. and so since everything is different ben and his father left the island, probably shortly after the incident

This whole sayid is the saviour thing makes sense and he has been shown in the christ position before. Anybody remember the ads on sky before the start of a show- sayid would be lifted up in a jesus on the cross type way, and by something very similarly to the smoke monster. This ad was never footage from the show just filmed to advertise the show Thought nothing of it at the time.

So i'm a big fan of the show "Twin Peaks" I guess this is a spoiler for that show if youhaven't seen it. But the premise at the end is that there are two Powerful entities "BOB and "Mike" and they inhabit the bodies of people in order to bring about change in the story. The end game of the show was the two entities inhabiting someone. Damien said this was a huge show for him growing up. He loved how you had to watch week to week for clues... I think this could have inspired jacob and MIB.

i think the cut is a part of his alternate life on the island, for example in one timeline i fell off my bike, and in the other i didnt, but still had a grazed knee. if that makes sence.. so im guessing, clues for the plane crash reality will be present in the safe landing reality. let me know what you guys think.. you 2 sean ;~)

When Juliet nuked the island, they didn't take into account that they killed a lot of people on the island. Jack was mentioning to Kate that all the people that they lost since they got to the island would still be alive. They killed a lot of people to fix this problem.

Seanie B. great recap but i dont agree with Penny not being born and Charles dying beacuse the bomb was not ment explode and destory everything but negate the magentic engery so it would be like if you had two speakers and you could change the voulme on both you put one really loud (thats the engery) and one low one (the Eyeland) and you use a knife(The Bomb) to cut the wire of the loud one this would not effect the lower volume one.
