  • just for all those saying that it's not good for a professional dancer not to have their leg at 90 degrees in a fouette, remember that the most famous prima ballerina Margot Fonteyn couldn't get her leg to 90 degrees and that never detracted at all from the quality of her performances or her technique. not every dancer is overly flexible or capable of hyper extension and there's nothing wrong with that, even if you are a professional.

  • Beautiful, but what about the face? Nothing there. Still, the performer did very very well, and us commenters should remember that most of us can't pull off better.

  • yes, fine, they were a little bit slow and boring. but slow fouettes are much harder to do. and i think everybody needs to read the info part. this is 3rd day back after her summer break. and she's doing black swan fouettes at half the tempo. not to shabby at all in my opinion. her leg being that far below 90 did bug me a bit though. yes, it doesn't have to be at 90, but it should be quite a bit higher than what she had it at

  • music sucks :(

  • Her back was so strong and straight and immobile that...well, she just has a strong back. xD Could have used more energy and spotted quicker but other than that, good job. :)

  • She completely ignored the music, wtf?

  • There needs to be a sense of seduction in this. Most certainly getting there, but as a spectator, I'd want to see more oomph!!!

  • uhh...needs more energy.

  • music terribly played

  • tooo slow

  • wow how many did she do? 49? 50?

  • not bad

  • so boring

  • i like how that guy just walked past xD

  • not bad, but i've seen better. heres some tips though. i would speed up the music a bit, and try to get your leg higher. but other than that, not to bad.. :]

  • It was ok, just had no energy. The tempo is way slow!

  • it was ok

  • YOur leg was below 90 degrees, that's not good for a professional!

  • that isn't me...she's a corps dancer from the national ballet...i'm a student here in germany

  • @kaio113 Was that Guan Wenting?

  • @amengxx I'm sorry it's been so long that i don't remember her name

  • @CowsGo777oo

Um, not all fouettes have to be at 90 degrees.

Can you do that many fouettes?

  • @CowsGo777oo

sometimes teachers have you practice a certain way. some companies like it below 90.

  • not bad..
