You really consider the Nova or Super Nova light recoil heavy guns? My winchester SXP defender weights all of like 6.25 pounds and when I feel like it can fire her terminator one handed style with 2 3/4 inch buck and slugs (not bragging but sometimes shooting stationary targets gets boring). I really want a super nova as an 18 inch open cylinder barrel does little besides protect my home and provide entertainment in the woods without killing anything...no trap and no hunting for now. Good review

how is the pump wobble, there was a rack full of em at Cabela's and the pump wobble was really horrible. Plus what does the rotating bolt have advantage over the one piece bolt?

I dont mind the 1 piece stock on the nova. Reason being that the after market stocks are like the benelli barrels- Very expensive- I think the nova stock is much cleaner and better looking then the supernova. So buying  a supernova just to be able to change the stock be informed that Benelli stocks are expensive.Great vid ive now sub to your channel.

I was looking at the Remington 887 Nitro online, after looking at it beside the Super Nova in person......the Benelli made the choice real easy. The Rem 887 Nitro looked and felt very bad. The Benelli was also included a 5yr warranty, and 3 chokes which again with the great feel made it very easy to choose.

haha i love my Benelli Nova. im 13, and my dad and i were looking for a shotgun for me. we were at a gun drawing, figured wed buy a couple tickets for it since we figured it was good, felt nice in my shoulder, and were told it was a good field gun. we won it, and i LOVE IT. its a 26 inch barrel, its a little long for me still, but in one season and only a few trips out hunting ive shot a pheasant, a squirrel, and a turkey. im looking for a new choke for it though. any suggestions?

The only bad thing about the nova, it kicks like a freakin mule. i think the butt pad is made from concrete. i made the mistake of patterning 3 1/2 magnum turkey loads out of it sitting on the ground and it nearly killed me, of course shooting it at an actual turkey, you dont feel a thing. Never shot the super nova and they say they reduce the kick quiet abit, hopefully so.

I know that it looks like a knock off of the nova, and I have been taking shit off of remington guys for having a polymer shotgun for years and now remington has also gone with a plastic skin.

Tex, I've never had to field strip a shotgun. Have you? At most, a little Hoppes on the rails and you are good to go. (I don't duck hunt - I hunt quail and dove in dry conditions so maybe that's the difference)
