i saw the nutrition profile for liver. damn, that stuff is like a multivitamin. i'm like you, i cant stand organ meat taste. funny thing is i cant stand the smell or taste of it cooked. and i cant stand to look, feel and texture of it raw but i prefer to taste (just a tiny bit more than cooked).
im putting on by big girl pants and im gonna take your suggestion.
This is good advice for starters, but really you shouldn't need to do this. You can get used to eating it normally a few bits at a time and after a while you'll come to live it.
@sn9696 Hunting is easy. Humans have done it for millions of years. What's your point? Last time my husband killed a goat he had a bite of the liver. I wasn't there to enjoy it with him. Fresh meat is the best. I was jealous.
@KorionDotNet- If you run across a farm that raises Belted Galloway, I highly recommend it. By far the best grass-fed raw ground beef I've tasted yet!! VERY fatty which is probably why it's sooooo delish!
@KorionDotNet - Orange!!! That's awesome! Tends to be a sign of high-vitamin content, specifically vitamin K I think! Like in butter(from spring grass) or skate liver oil. These are 2 other foods I'm aware of that have an orangish tint and are rich in K, and A, D. Cheers! =D
I've heard of people popping frozen liver like pills but I can eat a lot more this way. I've been eating raw liver like this for years and have never warmed up to the flavor! As I understand it if you aren't raised eating organs the flavor is harder to enjoy.
I started eating raw liver by cutting them into tiny bits and freezing them. Took them like pills. Now I just eat it unfrozen like it's nothing when I'm in the mood for it.
IF IT DOESN'T TASTE GOOD,DONT EAT. IF IT DOESN'T COME FROM THE DIRT, PLEASE DON'T FUCKING EAT IT THEN RECORD IT.

its better for digestion without the water sloshing around with the organs.

Do you know how to pick out grass fed beef or dairy products? Are there specific brands that sell this to grocers?

So if humans were meant to eat raw organs lets see you jump on a cow, kill it with your bare hands, remove the liver and eat it !

@peoniesfleur-It's recommended about 2 weeks time. Neutralizes any nasties.

I like to eat my raw beef liver frozen because when it is frozen you can't smell anything and it tastes great, melts in your mouth not in your hands.

First tried liver today. Cooked, that is. Looks horrible, tastes not that bad, funny texture. It's part of my all meat diet.
Oh, and you know what I love? Fresh ground grass-fed beef raw. That's so damn tasty!
Thanks for the videos, that's awesome!
