Thank you for removing your witless comments as I know that you're most likely regretting everything you said. You must've receive a lot of hate msgs to have gone to such lengths.

Anyway goodbye and good luck x

  • I don't think anyone has a problem with real journalists. Propaganda pitch-men posing as journalists on the hand...

  • America's Politics are seriously flawed in every way, instead of people standing for reason all any of the major parties do is spew their own special form of text book political rhetoric.

  • The bankers and their lobbyists need some good ol' fashion American justice. We should invite them all to a neckity social. This halloween I'll dress as a banker.

  • The American Free Enterprise System & Capitalism are two different things. The Capitalist makes money without having to manufacture a product to sell & receive money for. He doesn't make a table or tractor or nothing. He just sucks money out of the economy without manufacture anything himself. The entrepreneur & worker now have to work twice as hard to make money because the Parasitic Capitalist is sucking all the money out of the economy. YouTube: LPACTV Audio Preview The LaRouche Plan

  • Nice. God damn it, I need to friggin DO something. =/

  • HA- I love it

  • those protestors should be arresting the bankers

  • They have EVERY right to protest. Do these reporters understand the meaning of DEMOCRACY?

  • Democracy is the right of free speech and so forth but to be honest the idea of protest is also affiliated with anarchism, it's hardly a democratic concept. It belongs to other ideologies as much as democracy.

  • No. The U.S. 1st Ammendment constitution contains the right of free speech. Democracy is allowing a country's citizens a vote in decisions that are made running the country. Democracy has little 2 do with free speech.

Protesting is nothing 2 do with anarchism. It's citizens having their voice heard publically whether it be 4 or against a decision being made. By definition protesting is a large part of democracy. Protesting is more democratic that walking in2 a booth & selcting a candidate.

  • Here's a pop tut for you...

In a democratic government the majority vote rules.

Even if the majority vote is 51% to 49%, a fraction over half, then a fraction under half will be at the mercy of the fraction over. I don't know what you call that but it's NOT equality. It's majority rules. By definition this is NOT democracy.

Hint of advice - better you have a little more understanding next time before explaining your argument.

  • Ok . Seeing as though you've resorted to cheap shots it's clear your argument is baseless. You haven't provided a single factual argument.

I have no idea what it's like in Scotland but you guys must have it pretty good to not give much worry to what's happening in most other countries right now. Peace.

  • I'm Australian. One little fact you didn't bother checking.

You think I'm pretencious? It's called being civil. If you want to hide behind your screen on the other side of the world comfortable that no one can get at you for acting like a child then fine. 10 mins in the real world will have you crying like a baby. All the best with that xxx

  • I believe the issue was about Democracy. You have lowered yourself to debating my intellectual capacity. Your priority has been to denegrate others in order to save face. Stick to the facts buddy. Peace.

  • Once again applying things to others that can equally be atrributed to yourself. This "debate" of intellectual capacity only came about because you took offence to a word. The same as i used that word when you were a disrespectful patronizing titfuck. Sorry if you don't like it but it's not my concern. This topic has digressed and is now pointless. I'm removing my comments and in my part this "discussion" is over. Peace

  • it pisses me off that certain news networks always mock protesters.. most of the time they have valid points but are vilified for their efforts.. just look at the vietnam war.. who was right.. ? so piss off cnbc

  • MM, it said your making a sequel??

  • Was a joke.

  • Notice how the "teabaggers" received 24/7 news coverage but when true "real americans" are protesting the real problem creators in the country there is nary a peep from the MSM.

    Protesting progressive government policy =Good

    Protesting corporate greed & criminality=Bad

  • This is very true. Sadly a lot of people can't see the difference. Did you see what Pittsburgh looked like for the G20, they had something like 4500 police and a national guard unit. Left=Right media will always support the establishment

  • like she said, bankers are right up there with journalists and accountants (she forgot to mention insurers) as far as the scum of the planet goes

  • Journalists have their uses. I mean you shouldn't label all journalists as bastards, here in the U.K. if it wasn't for the Daily Telagraph discovering papers and publishing we would not have known of the expenses scandal. Those in power hate journalists, people at the bottom should be happy we have them. Those like John Pilger who think outside the box and report it are needed. Then again I think you're the type of person who just goes by society's perception. Good day to you.

  • i wasn't calling them bastards i was calling them scum.

that being said, with money involved there is no such a thing as an honest report, and as you so plainly put it, with the pressure of society's perception, there is really no such a thing as an honest opinion in journalism.

as soon as a camera is turned on none of us act ourselves.

  • You sir make a fantastic point. Here's the thing though, when a government is in control and it's policy and indeed funding for re-election rests on finances, principles are ditched. A senator cannot even hope to get into the white house without getting some form of financial backing from a banker or a health ceo. It's a very good concise point made.

  • We need to show up every time they meet. Damm Cheats.

  • Yes, about time!!

  • about time

  • Wealthy CNBC hosts who are nothing but scumbag tools of the bankers and insurers are also "very unpopular"!

  • Shakespeare was partly correct when he wrote: Kill the lawyers. He simply overlooked bankers.

Honestly, do either of them truly deserve life?
