pacey and joey weren't really good together. it was just interesting to see how

dawson was gonna react about them being together and after he found out

it wasn't really that interesting anymore. especially with pacey always feeling that he

couldn't compete with dawson and joey's past. i felt bad for him.

@dirty06maggot Dawson and Joey were stuck in the past though. The great thing about Pacey and Joey is that literally grew up together. Kevin Williamson said Joey loved Dawson as a girl, but Pacey was the first person she loved as a woman. Pacey and Joey were great together because they kept moving forward. The past stopped mattering.
