  • What a cool show. Saw Sue on Graham Norton. I wanted to desparately see this series. Thanks so much!!

  • Does anyone know what the music is at the start of the video?

  • There were a lot of testicles in these dishes.

  • I don't blame Sue for making googoo over the testes with that lush curly haired man. Cor.

  • The rich were too rich and the poor were too poor. It is grotesque!

  • @JanetteHeffernan thats what you get in a monarchy with non universal suffrage

  • @JanetteHeffernan how times change - not!

  • I really like Giles but I wish that he would close his mouth when he chews his food.

  • Does any other woman besides me feel a bit smug when he groans while wearing that corset? It's almost as amusing as when a guy loses a bet and has to see what it's like to wear a woman's high heels shoe. The whole falling flat on their faces makes me feel better about being stuck wearing them.

  • @VocalMusicology: You are not stuck wearing high heels: no-one is threatening your life or liberty if you don't wear them. But most women I have spoken to about this would much rather ruin their feet, knees, and spine than wear sensible, "ugly", shoes. Not that men do not have their own dumb shackles but (in the modern era, at least) it seems to be predominantly women who have sacrificed their reason to footwear.

  • Is it me or is Giles actually really handsome in those clothes??

  • That champagne poached salmon looks so good. I'm actually quite jealous.

  • 1.24 could Giles *be* any cuter?

  • Heston Blumenthal tried the Boar's head on his show...it didn't look like that when he was done!

  • i think hes a savage!! haha

  • What does a 'dandy' mean exactly? :S

  • @KupoXD They were the well dressed, witty and elegant men of a new generation. Led by George 'Beau' Brummell. They are mostly remembered now for their sartorial dress, but in fact the group of men were also known at the time for their wit, amiability and loyalty.

  • @KupoXD a man who places particular importance upon physical appearance, refined language, and leisurely hobbies

  • @KupoXD It's an English colloquism meaning "a soft person." Usually meant to mean the rich who don't work and idle away their time. It was used more commonly in the past than it is nowadays.

  • @KupoXD Its a man that is quite effeminate and fashonable but not necessarily gay.

  • @KupoXD 'Dandy' was a phrase used to describe a man who placed particular importance upon his physical appearance, use of refined language and taking part in leisurely activities.

  • @KupoXD

a phrase now more popularly replaced by 'ponce'

  • Giles thinks Vol-au-vent means fart in the wind. LOL

  • lol i love it when Giles gets angry! And suddenly stands up!

  • from 8:27 to 8:53 i couldnt stop laughing
