what are the mmw's also i am so glad to see someone else using steel on the outer case!! i think plastic is not what we need! also i had an idea about using outer stainless plates. polish them for bling!!!! good job jd from scott
MMW is at the end of video and to the right in the description..Yeah I like the steel endplates .Building a new one today 7"x13" 6plates with steel endplates
Very nice work. I am interested to know what temperature the brick is running at.
Most of the efficiency work has been done with dry cells with open holes. I wonder if a sealed hole setup like yours would run better at a higher voltage.
When you test 5N I am guessing that it will run cold. Try adding heat. It is a pain to do but adding heat will increase production and the MMW.
in the video the cell had not been on long , it was fairly cool...I hadnt had time just to let it run for a while...I managed to do a few test bout 30 mins ago..I ran it as a series , with 41volts 9.5 amps and it gave me a 6.16mmw, But i blew my homemade variac(aka light switch dimmer)so I had to quit testing..Going do some more testing later today.with these last results I don't see why I couldn't hit a 7 after getting everything warmed up...Only run for bout 20 mins today.
yeah i saw the mmw after i sent post.DOH! i always made my cells from steel. i plan to try using 3/16 304 exterior but with gaskets as 304 rusts!!

Don't see why you shouldn't get over a 6 MMW when she's run in properly.
Here's hoping for you!
