There is so much more shit to do in order to beat a ferrari.That 2k is prob only going to cover about the turbo itself.What about the manifold,injectors,fuel lines,fuel pumps,ECU. On top of that you will need a pretty good tune, which costs a pretty good deal of money. AND if you get a TT supra 6spd for 16k, you better bet that its been beat to piss for 150k miles and is not in the best shape. If you did get such supra add another 10k for a full rebuild. Your looking at more then what you think.

1-Ive test driven an f430 in a race track without traction control on.The only thing that deserves its money is its sound and handling...
2-1/4 mile requires lots of skill especially when you drive a fast car but you dont seem to get it.most street races are straight line(common).

I'll wait... because I can gurantee you that you won't find any. There's a reason why Ferrari dominates the circuit racing championships. As I've said, that Supra wouldn't last 15 minutes on a road course against any Ferrari. There's a difference between a drag strip and an actual race track. And I don't know about cars ..lol.

I'm not some rich guy or anything, but I have driven some pretty fast Ferrari's. Respect the fact that he can at least afford one. Anyone can own a Supra and fix it up to beat a car in a quarter mile. But drive a Ferrari on an actual circuit course, and I can bet you it'll be more fun. As I've said before, I stand by my argument that Supra's are no match for a Ferrari on a circuit track. PERIOD!!!

I know the guy in the Supra isn't a track racer and all. But my point is, these are two completely different cars where one car costs more money to invest in than the other. However, the other car happens to have alot more time being tinkered on than the other. So obviously this race wasn't fair by a long shot. It was a good race though, because the Supra had to fully spool that thing out to catch the Ferrari on the top end, and you can see that clearly before he pulls away.
