Great vid. I owned two Volvos in the 60´s - a pv544 and an Amazon. Since then, I´ve never driven such an exciting sport sedan as the pv544. I loved the truck-like shift stick. The whole car exuded quality. That speedometer - you´d never believe it was a rolling cylinder with a spiral red stripe - nearly fell over. Thanks for the memories!

Nice 544.

However, your twin S.U. carbs are sidedraft. In addition, they do not have an accelerator pump either. Therefore it makes no sense to pump the gas pedal before cranking. These carbs do not allow you to "prime" the engine with fuel. Close the choke, crank, check oil pressure, and go.
