Toyota in 4 feet of water

Say I have a stock 2011 LC200. what modification is needed to make it a better off road vehicle than... say a stock one? I am looking at deep mud trekking, wet muddy hill climbing and deep, sometimes very deep, rough river crossing.

I should also note that i had a 6.5 with 380,000 as well as a LB7 with 215000 on the clock. Also had a IDI 7.3 in a 95 F350 with 210,000. Out of all the trucks i have wheeled and driven for different reason i will say that reg cab trucks with shorter wheel basses do tend to be a little more fun to wheel IMPO.
