And if you broke your leg, there will be MORE bone produced on the spot. I saw the method on a documentary film of how they managed to deform the skull like this. The size of the brain has no bearing on an individuals ability to process information or use knowledge that you've gained. It is the surface area of the brain which is controlled by the wrinkles & folds in the brain that determines inteligence. Neadertals had larger brains than homo sapiens, but didn't have as many folds as us. This is susspected to be the difference that helped us to gain abstract accumulative knowledge that we pass from generation to generation.
