Uyghurs may be Chinese citizens but that does not make them ethnic Chinese. Referring to Uyghurs as "sand donkeys" clearly shows that ethnic Chinese like you are unwilling to treat other ethnic groups as equals in China. Maybe this is why your minorities are unhappy? Maybe there is only so much oppression they can take before fighting back? Look at Tibet. It may be a part of China, but the people there are hardly happy with the heavy hand of Chinese oppression. yes,it's not proper to call them bad name.but how could I respect an ethnic group teem with thieves and robbers and terrorists,not to mention some guys of them(everywhere,within out of China)swearing and cursing at innocent Chinese people.

i hope one day we can look beyond nations' borders and appreciate the diversity in cultures and ethnicity and let go of our pre-disposition to prejudices. Perhaps the Chinese ethnicity is really 'han' ;-)
