YES! This happened in Tuscaloosa, Alabama after an F-4 tornado ripped through a 6-mile path destroying homes and businesses. My business was destroyed and I attended tons of these type meetings. I fought against the city and went so far as to remind our elected officials of their oath of office. Miraculously, I am the first one building back on my entire block.
When you said "What about when they come to take your" (land)".....reminded me of that old analogy on gun control or religions; when they came to take the ___ I didn't care because I was ___ .
The densely populated mega cities will make the average sized British city look like a small market town and London look sprawling. Everyone forced into high rise apartment blocks much higher than the ones built in post war Britain. I can see them made entirely out of glass rather than concrete so people wouldn't have any privacy.
I've been to badly facilitated meetings and break out groups at conferences and now realise that they were conducted like this deliberately by giving eye contact and energy to the disruptive elements in the meeting. Often they are plants. One method is to ask everybody to introduce themselves even when there are too many people for this to be done quickly and allow some people to tell their life stories. This gives very little time for discussion. If you walk out then people are offended.
It is incorrect to say that Americans own property. Californian land was stolen from Mexicans. Secondly, USA belongs to British Royal family and it is British Crown Colony.

This Marxist government is trying to change that and has bought up a large percentage of land for the sole purpose of squeezing us into densely populated cities so the totalitarian state can closely monitor and control us. @DebraJaye It starts with garden grabbing which means that when somebody who lives in a large detached house sells it they are unwittingly selling it to a developer who knocks it down and builds a block of flats on the property with very little space for a garden and that garden will be at the front and sides of the block of flats ensuring no privacy. They are beautiful old buildings. The elites don't want them and prefer to have an even bigger modern house in the countryside
