I am a newby. I love the look of this.

If you waited a few minutes til it really set up.... could you lift it off the bat. and swing it twice put it back on a flat surface, and swung it the other way...

Would or could it become a platter?

Great demothanks! Worked perfectly the first time I tried it. Lots easier than throwing right-side up. Just have to give it time to firm up before flipping it; crashed a giant one because I was too impatient! Thanks again.

Yesterday I made a couple of these plates. The first 2 tries crashed on lift. I made the plate a little thicker and it helped a lot.  They are really striking as greenware. Can't wait to glaze and fire. Thanks for the cool new project!

ez ez shmeezy. im gunna do it. i made a few spiral sqware pitchers. very ez...well that took a few trys to get it light enuff but . yeah go give grate demos
