It's not just you don't touch a wrestler that way, you don't touch anyone that way. Physical assault against a person is still the same whether they are a civilian or a celebrity. Jericho was assaulted from behind and he spun around and hit back in self defense. For all he knew, it was a guy coming at him, or even the person could have been packing a weapon. The security guys screwed up by not protecting Jericho. I wouldn't be surprised if Jericho or WWE never return to that venue.

From what I have read in other reports, Jericho was leaving, and he stopped at a Stop sign, when a fan went up to his car and started banging on the door, flashing middle fingers. Jericho tried to get out of the car to make the fan leave, but the latter closed the door on Jericho, and kept trying to start something. That's when things got nasty.

People seem to forget that wrestlers are normal people, and like us, they too, can get pissed off and some imbecile who's physically harassing us. If some random guy did the same to you, I'm sure that you would have knocked the guy's teeth down his throat. Not only that, but Jericho was assaulted by multiple fans, I can't blame him for going as far as he did. So fan need to stop being idiots, and realize that wrestlers are just doing their job. Seriously, grow the fuck up.

Good video, I agree with what you're saying.
The fans didn't even want autographs. From what I have read in other reports, Jericho was leaving, and he stopped at a Stop sign, when a fan went up to his car and started banging on the door, flashing middle fingers. Jericho tried to get out of the car to make the fan leave, but the latter closed the door on Jericho, and kept trying to start something. That's when things got nasty.
