  • the care this system shows for it citizens is nothing anymore

tired of hearing "to stop this happening again"

it happens over and over and over and over and over and over again

  • Well Done. Mark b (wins story)

  • Mark,

Thanks for this. Just looked at your site and the tragedy of your mother! Many similarities with our case and two elderly people "seen off" by the NHS!

I work in the NHS in primary care and see where the foundations of these tragedies lie, i.e. target chasing whilst basic care standards fall. What happened to Dad and Win were failures in basic care standards, nothing allied to high science, and yet they happened and will continue to happen as lessons go unheeded I'm afraid.

    Mark

  • This should never be allowed to happen again. Tragic treatment, or should I say lack of treatment by those who were tasked to do their job. My condolences to the family who had the willpower and energy to bring this to the public domain.

  • Thanks,

It was a tortuous process over 30 months because of the prevarication of the hospital but we did it because of the need to protect older patients from the poorest the NHS has to offer.
