  • I wonder if it's necessary to soak the sesame seeds first, or if you could grind just the seeds down into a paste (?) with nothing else added. Probably with a powerful blender like a Vitamix it could be done...

  • @bg11215 Hi! The soaking purpose is to open the seed so it can germinate, increasing the lifeforce of the food exponentially! "Open, Sesame!" But I have ground the seeds first, even in a coffee grinder, and it works!

  • I love how authentic you are. Thanks so much for the recipe. Went raw about five months ago. I love my new life. Ive been spending $9-a jar on Tahini. Thanks so much!!!! I love that I found you, the pretentious raw food shows are too much to handle. All the love! ~By the way

  • I really do have to try this ~ I've never made tahini before. Thanks Dorothy ~ as always, a great video!!

    Happy Holidays,

    Debbie *Ü*

  • @4007fairview Tahini opens up a whole world of new ideas and new tastes, to your salad dressings, smoothies, veges, everything! Have fun, Debbie!
