Billie is absolutely great in this period. She was off the smack, and looked, and sang her best during the early 1950's.
When you say Lady Day, there is no one more a lady than this Lady. No Doubt! 5***** to you on this one.. Basie's band was perforct for the Lady. Just like a hand in the glove...

Impeccable combination of Billie and Basie. Billie looks luminous & sensuous here, her voice is in good shape. I wish there was more, much more. She was having time this night for sure.
