  • The stg44 vs. m1 garand, talk about classic weapon battles-

  • big brother of M14

  • still in use by Filipino muslim moro warriors of Mindanao.

  • m1 garand accuracy is fantastic not only good but top marks

  • @dimitboris Accidentally just disliked this, sorry, dead right. Misclicked.

  • @nedhobo everyone makes mistakes man no one is perfect no problem from russia everyone is not perfect! :)

  • Perhaps one of the best parts of the M1: It was designed by a Canadian. Being a Canadian myself, it's something to be proud of.

  • @nedhobo yes hope you dont hate russians like me coz most canadians i met says shit against us russians if were evil we could have invaded you right after ww2 our victory against hitlers armies

  • @dimitboris I LOVE RUSSIA!! You guys are like a slightly larger. more socialist version of us! Russia's so awesome, man!

  • @nedhobo good that you are not like those ignorant fools man think before you say something stupid those canadians i met are shits but not like you

  • @dimitboris Hey Canada is pretty awesome comparing to other countries

  • SMLE over Mauser Kar98k, the SMLE was the fastest bolt action of WWII; I highly doubt anyone could do the "mad minute" with a Kar98k. Enfield ftw.

  • mauser beats enfeild

  • the l85a2 is a lot better

  • i would take an m14 over a garand NO1 it is better to field strip NO2 it has a 25 round mag and NO4 i guess i just like it better

  • @MRM14MAN but you have to remember the M14 was the descendant of the M1.

  • I could hit a target at 300m using the FN FAL and the target didnt get up. No one I know picked up the full auto cause they hadnt been cared, we only took the ammo.

  • what does smle mean?

  • @Rico8458 smle= short magazine lee enfield

  • @badewane123 i thought it was: SMILE!

  • the l8582 isnt used by the british army anymore but - its modified version (the SA80) is being used by the british army in afghanistan

  • I don't agree that the FAL is "uncontrollable" on full auto. It's much better than the G3..

  • Germany and Russia were at peace at the beginning of the war, then hitler attacked russia because he thought it was a "rotting structure that would colapse after one good hit," and yes hitler planned to rule the world for 1,000 years (1,000 year reich) along with Italy and Japan.

  • "Germany and Russia were at peace at the beginning of the war..."

... about as much as two boxers are at peace after a round ends, and they get a chance to lick their wounds and prepare for the next round.

They both wanted to prepare for the upcoming war that they both knew would happen. Calling them at peace or allies is silly.

  • any1 heard of famaz?

  • I don't agree with the guys theory that the FAL in uncontrollable on Full Auto. Try shooting an FAL and a G3 on full auto, one after the other and you tell me which one is more controllable.

The FAL is MUCH better on FA...

  • these vids are amazing but that fat bald bastard is hilarious to look at

  • Hitler wanted to conquer the world? omfg... what kind of book those people read?

  • It wouldn't be unheard for a Brazilian to be a Nazi sympathizer, since so many Nazis fled to Brazil and other parts of south america to avoid criminal charges.

  • first... not many nazi came... second, there arent many nazis here... third im not a nazi sympathizer, im a GERMAN sympathizer...

  • Whats there to be sympathetic about when it comes to Germany?

  • The Barbarians that destroyed the Rome Empire, most of them were Germans... The Prussian Army is the finest when it comes about strategy and power... Germany has the best weapons, best armys, a country that lost 2 wars (alone against the world) today is the most powerful AGAIN in Europe... A Country with discipline, culture, education, great food...

  • Yes yes... all things to go "RAH! RAH! RAH!" about. Not something that raises sympathy.

And Germany is powerful now for the same reasons that Japan and South Korea are on the map: After ww1 the Allies punished Germany into the stone age; after ww2 they rebuilt Germany and Japan. S.K. was friendly and received help to look better than N.K.

Unfortunately, the areas that Nazi Germany sent to the stone age weren't so lucky.

Hence, no sympathy, but also no disrespect for modern Germany either.

  • you know shit about history... the countries that accepted the Nazis were really rich, there was no stone age... in WW1 AND 2 German received LOTS of money from USA, because USA knew that German is one of the bests markets in the world... lots of countries didnt received that, this is USA problem...

And I really dont give a damn about sympathy of the worlds stupids... German WAS and IS a great country and deserves respect...

  • What are you talking about? You are mixing things up.

What do you mean by "accepted the Nazis"?

Like Austria? Obviously that's not who I was referring to being thrown into the stone age by the Germans. Think eastern Europe.

"German received LOTS of money from USA"

What? They didnt receive money: they did business together, because no other country would, so USA found it very profitable. Until they went to war as well. I was talking about rebuilding, not business. Carefully reread what I said.

  • Eastern Europe was in bad shape by the comunism... learn history you noob...

there was no Business... the policy of USA is to give money to countries and sell theyr products... This was made in lots of countries. This is rebuilding, this is profit, this is business... War is nothing personal, u think it is, but u are an idiot. There is no Good and Evil, only money. The Nazi terror was about the holocaust, nothing more, destroy countries, they didnt want that... go learn something

  • Who are you tell anyone to learn something when you cant comprehend text, or the time line of history?

Communism spread to eastern europe AFTER ww2: Soviets took control as the Nazis were pushed.

It wasn't communism that destroyed the bridges and the railways, and shot 100 civilians for every German soldier sniped, along with just pure genocide. You are missing the point, and you have no idea of what went on in the war. Typical for a nationalist who is passionate about nothing.

  • You are mixing up prewar, war, postwar, of two wars.

Prewar ww1&2: USA did business with Germany, not charity, but for profit.

War: USA waged war, no business/charity.

Post ww1: Allies robbed Germany of colonies, coal...

Post ww2: Allies rebuilt it: Basically charity, but obviously with business in mind.

CAN YOU UNDERSTAND THIS?! REREAD IT MANY TIMES.

"u think it is, but u are an idiot"

Strawman argument. Fuck yourself. Don't assume anything about me. Only judge in context the things I say.

  • im thinking ur really stupid...

wtf brigde and killing has to do with anything? this dont send a country to stone age, this is war strategy, war is about destruction and killing. USA and England are not saints, they did the same things, they killed lots of prisioners and civillians in cold blood...

but the "stone age" is about poverty... the eastern europe wasnt poor and destroyed in WW2, they are what they are because of the Cold War... Learn history, good lord...

  • Actually, if someone was to drive a train with a plow behind it so it destroys the tracks behind it (like the germans did), through half of the railroad tracks of a modern country today... that country would be consumed by chaos as shipments of fuel, food, and materials stop coming. Hence, basically the stone age. You are just too stupid to know anything like this.

  • this was one of the most stupid comments i have ever seen... that strategy was used even in the middle age... cutting supplies is used to make the enemy surrender faster, no city, castle, country, after the domination, stays without supplies, especially the countries dominated by the Nazis... The supplies connections were allways reestabilish after the conquer

  • @hitokijb

Europe wasn't communist at the time you dumbass...Nazi Germany was national socialist and fucking loaded cash-wise and the rest of Europe was cap. except austria...the only communist nation at the time near Europe was the USSR...fucking dumbass...

  • @Cowbelltheoneandonly in Cold war East Europe was communist... you should learn some reading before quoting people xD

  • @hitokijb

No...not all of East Europe..def not the individual countries...maybe some of the countries occupied by the ussr after the WW2..but not all of the countries..sorry I thought you said that countries in eastern europe during WW2 were commies

  • u might be right but it deserved an ass kickin

  • @hitokijb like their beer?

  • @hitokijb Hate to break it to you dickless, but NAZI GERMANY deserves no respect. Murdering millions of unarmed civilians in concentration camps and ghettos revoked any rights they had to respect from the rest of the world. They get some respect now, because they apologized, paid a bunch of damages, and haven't done it again. And because they actually contribute somewhat to resolving other global conflicts, instead of starting them.

  • @nedhobo I never said NAZI Germany deserves respect, I said GERMANY, the country, the people, the soldiers, not the political bs they had

  • @hitokijb Yes. Germany deserves respect. It has recovered remarkably well from years of Fascism and then Communism, but you said WAS in an all inclusive sense, therefore implying that all Germans deserve unconditional respect and have throughout history. I wouldn't say that about ANY country, let alone the country that started 2 of the most gruesome conflicts in modern history.

  • @hitokijb Germany deserves NO RESPECT. They are NOT a war power.

  • @ARepublicanVictory of course, you are right... republicans deserves respect, because there is no death, war, poverty, racism or anything bad in a republic...

I said Germany deserves respect, Germans, German soldiers... not nazism... and if you don't know the difference, go back to school

  • @ARepublicanVictory right on

  • u realise that the germans had allys during the world wars right?

  • Too bad. none of us were there during the war. reason, we are not born at that time. you are not exist at all. so shut up and stop arguing who is right or wrong.

  • too bad the french never get to use their weapons

  • et toi tu est trop bete pour te servire de ton cerveaux lollllllllllllllllll

  • "M1 Garand is the riffle that won world war 2" ? So it was only the favour of the americans that saved us from the mean germans?

  • Americans are arrogant, what did you expect? They came and joined the war late and claimed they saved europe.

  • Dude.. is it our fault we were trying to stay out of the war do to things that were going on in our country? and was it our faul that the japanese bombed pearl harbor? so stfu thats why we joined the war

  • Look dickhead i wasn't talking about pearl harbor. I wouldnt give two shits if you didnt join the war, but turning up late and claiming it was by your hand and rifle that europe was saved is typical arrogance. Had it been just america against nazi Germany you would be speaking german by now so you STFU.

  • yeah but it wasn't and Germany was by far the most advanced country in the world and its not like America didnt help with the outcome. Most Americans believe more that the allies won the war not Americans themselves and american lives were lost . Also if we "lost" the war we would not be speaking German, Hitler was looking to conquer Europe not the world.

  • Why did Hitler attack Russia if he only wanted to comquer Europe? Read your history... Hitler were looking to conquer the world. If he hade the chance he would probably attack america too.

  • Hitler wanted to attack Russia because Nazis saw communism as its rival

  • germany would have won the war if hitler was in charge during the end

  • ????????????????????????

  • they did. what happen b4 that? europe got rape

  • We did look in a history book.

  • well... yes in a sense they did just saying but us brits wouldnt havent been able to stop them, nor the french, nor the australians, nor the polish, the russians would be the only ones besides the americans and the canadians

  • But the l98a1 is the real worst gun. I know. Hundred of magazines and catalogs are sad that.

  • no i´ts the M4

  • HK416 is beast>:D

  • Comment removed

  • wtf the M1 isent from the us a canadian named john M garand made it!man these yanks try to take all the credit

  • hellyeah the m1 grand is made by a canadian

  • haha yeah thats awesome ahhh canada

  • Yes it is mate!

Check out my M1 Garand on my page.

    Best,

    Gunny

  • how the hell did they miss the FAMAS?

a weapon that shoots 1000-1100 rounds per minute(faster than any submachine gun)

has a 488 mm (19.2 in) barrel in a ultra compact design. (the m16 has a 20 in barrel, and I mentioned the barred size because that's what makes a difference when both fire the same round) therefore I would guess it's as accurate as the m16

and yet the Famas Uses a near perfection Lever-delayed blowback which means less jams and less heat

Lol it should be the #1

  • Is the FAMAS carbine?

  • the definition of 'carbine' is

"A lightweight rifle with a short barrel."

    "a type of light rifle."

if you look at the main version of the famas (g2) it has a barrel almost as big as the m16's so that would be a no...

however the definiton of carbine does not really apply to different rifles...

ex. the m4 is the carbine of the m16...

but the size of the m4's barrel may be as long as the size of other STANDARD rifles which are not considered the carbine versions of their own series.

  • so is the famas a "CARBINE" the answer is NO and YES...

depending on what version you're talking about....

to summerize, we know that the m4 is the carbine version of the m16... THE AKS-74U is the carbine version of the AK-74, and the G36C is the carbine version of the G36...

but that doesn't mean these carbines' barrels are the same size.

neither sets a "required" size for a rifle or its barrel to be considered a carbine.

it's simply a smaller version of it's own...

  • Thnks 4 telling me this....i never knew it before....i thought the barrels are the same seize but the rifle jus smaller....is the carbine use the same bullets as the original?

  • like I said the Carbine is just a shorter version of the same weapon, so yes it would have to be the same caliber otherwise it would be considered a different weapon or a different version of it....

the purpose of carbines though it that they are more suitable for multi-tasks in urban warfare and everything else.

but a carbine usually has a smaller barrel like I said, and that diminishes accuracy a little as well as power.

  • *IS that they are* not 'IT' sorry bad typer xD...

  • wow ur like a weapon specialist....

  • i think the STG 44 shouldve been #5, i love and i am obsessed with that german gun!!

  • Do these people know what they are talking about? The PING made by the clip from an M1 is made by its contact with the action on the M1, NOT from hitting the ground. Throw it on the ground of sand and plants and you wont hear anything, Unless the ground is metal.

The M14 was made off M1 grands that wore converted to accept the mags from B.A.R's and had full auto conversion. I wonder where these Experts get some of their ideas.

  • Yeah, seth I was thinking the exact same thing!! Apparently there was a lot of small arms fighting in those U-Boats (metal). haha

  • steyr aug should have scored higher

  • I have fired a Lee Enfield when I was in Cadet's, along with a L-98 Cadet GP rifle. I remember the Lee Enfield was unbelievably heavy, I can't imagine what it must have been like having to run miles with it.

  • richardrichard07 A lot of the battle rifles from WWII were heavey. I can't imagine draging a BAR around and that just goes to show how tough all the soldiers were in WWII.

  • And on top of it all they had a p 1907 bayonet on the end, which means they couldn't shoot straight. There was probably more close combat back then. Now that's real toughness.

  • Or your just weak

  • Yes a Canadian built it just proves we make good guns

  • No word about the H&K G3? I mean they name the Enfield/BAE-H&K L85A2, currious.

My feeling would have placed G3 on position three rather than this lee-enfield bold action.

  • the halo rifle is a make-believe gun. It is based on some animators imagination. Join the real world!

  • I ment that it has some of the same looks as those guns.

  • fuckin dumbasss

  • @Blu3Box

    The gun doesn't exist...dumbass

  • at the part 5:09 that gun looks like a battle rifle from halo right?

  • does the sa80 pop up in top ten because it sure as shit should. i cant be bothered watching the whole thing?

  • nope it isn't

  • no it wasn't it was the m1 garand

  • mind you that quote was from General George Patton so of course it would have an American spin to it. Also you have to remember that the M1 realy won TWO wars one in the Pacific and one in The Atlantic. The M1 was also used by other nations due to the mass production capabilities of the Americans at the time so there is more then a little truth to what old Patton said.

  • Actually the Lee Enfield was not too accurate because the bullet was off balance
