Krimson...last I heard Tata was planning on manufacturing the LR in China... I give the vehicle props for its offroad performance, but that is about it. I'll stick to my guns that this vehicle came to an end 8 years ago for true enthusiasts....No, I dont drive a RRS. First LR was a 94 D90. Now a 997tt and a V10Diesel touareg. Wife a Q7 TDI and z8. As soon as Ford purchased LR I was outta the brand, let alone Tata....Stick to your guns, you next LR will be "made in China."

dude...the RR came to a F ing end when ford bought it, and then sold it to TATA in India.....Do you guys all know your "truck"is build in India?? I would shoot for the X5 anyday verse the RR, let alone the Cayenne, a Landrover, or even the Touareg....not to even mention the reliability issue....this thing is based on the LR3....

@sillyboy32 Built in Solihull, England mate. As for reliability, it has improved massively over the last 10 years. The 3.0TDV6 engine can be found in the BMW X5 and the 5.0V8 is a Jaguar engine, so mechanically it's solid. RR's 20 years ago were bad for breakdowns, that's why everyone started buying Toyata 4x4 instead. If you have the money, no better luxury 4x4.

@sillyboy32. you have no idea what you are talking about. I own the RRS 2011, my mate drives the X5, well in the off-road nothing beats the RRS. And you need a 3.5 twin turbo in the X5 to have some preformance... But i guess you know that because you drive a RRS too. Made in India hahahaha...

I have seen the new evoque range rover and I think it will bring an end to an era for range rovers, I wouldn't have minded if they changed it slightly but it looks stupid now... Guess Porsche Cayenne will still hold it's modesty !
