YES!!!! Thank you for sharing this video. I have had Photoshop Elements 6 installed on my Mac for several months and could never really figure out how to get my pictures from iPhoto to PE6. Following your simple instructions I was just able to do that. Now I'm off to watch more of your videos to learn how to work with the photo I just installed!
If at all possible it would be amazing for you to do a tutorial on how to instal photoshop elements 6!! My mac is experiencing problems with it, and i am having a difficult time figuring it out!
Hi there Jack! Thank you so much for showing us Mac users some attention. I have an 27 inch i-mac and an Epson Stylus Photo 1400 printer. When I use the same printer and print from a PC the prints are BEAUTIFUL. However, when I printed on my i-mac...the prints were horrible. Why is this and what can I do to improve my print quality? Also, I notice that I don't get the same print options in Photoshop elements when printing from the Mac. I really appreciate your help.

Great video and as a Mac use myself, this is a breath of fresh air. It's great to be able to flit between i photo and photoshop elements 6. to me and it makes editing so much easier. I've been a mac laptop owner for just over a year and they are so much easier to use than windows.
I just happened upon your site...must be my lucky day!!! I have a mac and elements 8. I have been getting my photos into elements by just drag and drop but I run into other problems when I do that. Thank for this tutorial. You do a great job on these tutorials and I will be a very frequent viewer. I will be subscribing as soon as I complete this note. Jean
Love this tutorial. I just purchased an IMAC and wacaom pen which came with elements 6. This helped me because I have never used Iphoto. I am looking forward to more tutorials. Thanks so much.
Then I select multiple images in iPhoto and pushing the edit button, only four of the selected images are shown in Photoshop Elements 8.0. Is there a way to open more images at a time? Is the limitation normal or is maybe something wrong in the Photoshop preferences?
After hours of trying to figure this out, you video solved the problem in minutes. I am going to get PE8, and assume the same will apply. I just subscribed. THANKS1
Im also new to Mac, Iphoto, and Elements just got Elements 8. After editing in PSE 8 where does the picture go? When I go to Iphoto its the same unedited photo.? Also is your Mac and Elements DVD tutorial with Elements 8? $15.00 sounds like a bargain.
Please post more mac tutorial in one area, on one page. Please don't mix PC language in with Mac language. I don't need confusion. I look forward to your group of mac tutorials. Keep up the good work. Thanks, JAW
I am a new visitor as I am new to Elements. Wanted to say thank you for doing instruction for mac. Frankly I have been lost. At least now I can open a picture. Keep them coming - great job!
Thank you so much for the info on how to open photos in Elements 6... I was having trouble with Elements recognizing the raw format.. it works good now...however, i have Essentials for iphoto and now i will have to go to preferences and change which external editor i want to use manually. Is there any way that I can right click on the picture and then choose which external editor i want to use? Thanks
You can right click and choose external editor but I am afraid that it only opens the one you have setup as the default external editor. Thanks for the comments and the question.
I have a DVD of nothing but MAC training, I created all the videos on the MAC and they play in Quick Time. The DVD has IPhoto 09 and Elements 6. Thanks for watching and writing in.
Yes I have a Mac and more tuts on using all the tools would be awesome. I just got Photoshop so I am anxious to get it all down. I take alot of car pics at car shows and sometimes people are in the way etc so any way that is the easiest to eliminate unwanted objects would be cool. I used the clone stamp tool and that seemed to work pretty good.
Great video! The screen is a bit blurry but overall, a very helpful tutorial. Have you ever used iShowU or ScreenFlow? Those are screen recording apps.....check it out. I think it would really help in your tutorials.
The audio is perfect. I have the new MacBook and the video is blurred and I can't see the text that you click. Wow! You taught me something already! More than I can say for my one-on-one sessions. :(
You could try to watch the videos with the new You Tube High Resolution Videos. Or check out my web site and watch them on Viddler. You could also pick up a copy of my DVD which are better guilty. Thanks for the comments.
Being a fairly new mac user I am still in awe, I have iPhoto / Aperture and elements 6, what order do you suggest I take to get to grips with Photoshop as I tend to get a bit confused as setting them up.
You instruction was going fine to a point. I made Element 6 the preferred editor then selected 2 photos in iphoto to edit. I right clicked to edit in external editor. Photoshop opened but the pictures were not there. What went wrong?
Just wondering how or if you can make a photo with multiple movments within the photo. It sounds a little confusing sorry. Having one fram and then having a moving object multiple times in that one fram.
THank You ( If you could make a video that would be great.) An example is like in a skateboard magazine there is one fram and multiple positions of the skate boarder.
I'm a new mac owner and just bought Photoshop Elements 6 and am clueless on how to use it. I am so happy I found your videos. Thanks for your time, I know you're going to be a big help for me!!!!
