  • back in a day...the first song that introduce me to suede...

  • Love this video...I was looking for this since 1994! I've had a vhs video, but I lost, sorry can't speek english very good. moves gay of Bret are so exciting!

  • I love the guitar part of this song it have a very "jimmy page" thing,

and bret moves are so GAY! makes me laugh!

  • Marc Bolan.

  • My friend Linda cringed when somone mentioned a fan club gig to Simon at the pub hey babe...

  • You can tell this video's being marketed to the grunge crowd of '92. Luckily they were swooped away into the magical world of Brit-Pop. Great song.

  • Those were great days. It tells you something when a song or a video can move you as much at present as it did when it first came out. Thank God for the legacy of these great bands - they make artistic droughts as these times inconsequential.

  • My Favourite Suede Song By Far (:

  • Wowsers not seen this video for a while, I was there too. Thank goodness they don't make Maty Bubble bath anymore. Still have the t-shirt.

  • i was there, cant see me though, quality is too bad

  • brett still has that smile, LOVE this song

  • I was there! The people in the video were members of the fan club who were asked to appear at Ealing studio`s in London for the shoot.

We got a mug of tea and a tee shirt for our time. It was great fun I must admit and the band were really friendly.

  • I havent heard this for a very longtime like 10yrs. :)

  • Esta cancion rifa! y la banda tambien!

    Greetings from Mexico

  • They're fully charming, especially Bernard Butler. This is one of my favourite songs by suede.

  • ...what an amazing performance!!!

  • Thanks for this appreciation:)

  • anytime mon ami! ;)

  • I love Bret's hair! I touched his face while he sang this sing to me! sigh!!!!

  • at 2:47, you can see Konnie Huq from Blue Peter

  • Still one of the best tracks of the 90's and still one of my favorite bands of all time. It would be nice to see them get back together.

  • Why was the other version not shown in the US? For having Brett grope his own mannequin?

  • its mimed to a backing track, right?

  • Possibly, or else he´s singing without a mic. Can´t understand why someone gave you a minus.......

  • because its a stupid question?

  • It may be stupid. But at least it´s not that unpolite...:S

  • Brett y esos movimientos me dejan totalmente bloqueada. Solía criticar los videos que hacen los grupos ingleses para promocionarse en norteamérica, pero este video rompe totalmente ese esquema, de hecho, es mucho mejor que la U.K version. Suede....que recuerdos locos....

  • You ain't seen nothing untill you seen a proper foam party...

  • prefer the rest of the world version to this one.

  • Pinkglitteruk i wouldn't mind ruining my jacket! if only i have been in that video shoot too!classic track & video by the band.

  • I was at this shoot, it wasn't that much fun dancing in the foam, my jacket got ruined hehe

  • I was there too, ruined my shoes and jeans... totally worth it though!

  • I was there too. Can't believe it was 15 years ago. My clothes got ruined but great laugh. Can you see yourself in the vid? Moves too fast, can't spot myself. Remember trying to snog Brett & Bernard after. Great times.

  • Nah, lol. Me and my mates have watched it in slow motion and still can't see ourselves!

  • I couldn't get the day off school!!

  • Must have been hard when they were snogging one another...;)

  • absolutely a classic video, and a solid track. they remind me i must dance in foam before i die.

  • like - right immediately before you die?

  • thank for this video electricringo, 5 stars for you!!

  • I forgot how androgenous he looked. This is still one of my all time favs by them.

  • sometimes beauty needs no substance at all

  • i saw this vid late night in '92 and fell deep in love. no joke, the next week i found the debut in the $1 bin at the local cd store. i guess cleveland, ohio doesn't have such a soft spot for suede. i love them so

  • Funny that you say that. That CD was one of my better finds at Goodwill.

  • Jesus, I had to pay full price for it in Austin TX for the tape. I was on a field trip with German exchange kids checking out the UT campus. My b/f Denis was one of them. Always hiding my gayness, my Suede tape and my trysts with Denis was so exhausting. Good times...

  • If any of the songs on their first three albums are insubstantial, Filmstar is. Not the Drowners.

  • Not much substance behind the style though. Maybe one of their better songs like Filmstar or Beautiful Ones will have a bit more of both.

  • cool..they look so cool...what beautiful thing youth is...:)
