  • Thks for these wonderful tutorials. Please how can you do the above procedure in Access 2007. As it seems you are using 2003 or XP. I can't see the Tools menu option in 2007. Pls can you show how this can be done in Access 2007? Thks. ID

  • @nobelluk1 I'm using 2003, you should have the same option in 2007

  • @Firchild Sorry, but do you know how to disable the back-end in Access 2007? I've looked around in Options but I can't find anything.

  • @13baldjj 1. Click the Microsoft Office Button (upper left corner)

    2. Click the Access Options button in the bottom right corner of the menu that appears

    3. Click the Current Database category on the left side of the Access Options dialog box

    4. Under Application Options section look for the option called "Display Form." Select your form name from the combo box

    5. Click Ok to close the Access Options

    6. The next time you open the database your form will load on Startup

  • @Firchild Thanks. That wasn't quite what I meant but I figured it out - changing the file ending from '.acdb' to '.acdr' will make the database open without anything but the form selected. (I'm writing this so others can see if they need help).
