Самолет очень хороший, довелось на нем поработать,и то что он не в небе сейчас виноваты наши американские (друзья) да оно и понятно зачем им конкуренты.
Ne-154 тоже очень красивый. Эти два самолета считаю самыми красивыми лайнерами. Вот только Ил-96 в несчастливые годы появился на свет. Мало их летают.

А про снятие его как якобы "не переспективный" слышал, и снимают его якобы из за того что он топлива много жрет, что конечно отчасти правда, боинги меньше топлива потребляют, но двигатели боинга не приспособлены к нашим морозам, спроси генсека нато который к нам на крайний север прилетал как его самолет не мог взлететь из за мороза, а илы летают в любой мороз!

@ersh2033 Недавно пассажиры рейса Москва—Петрозаводск оценили свое родное, когда в аэропорту не было средств ILS и пришлось на старом самолете без современной авионики и средств навигации садиться практически в слепую. Кому-то может и доставляет удовольствие ценить свое родное, разъезжая на в(т)азах и прославляя уже давно устаревшие совковые машины, но я почему-то уверен, свои сообщения вы не пишете с родных компьютеров типа Искра 226, а скорей всего что-то типа Intell\AMD\Mac.

И это при том что у американцев огромный военный бюджет и более развитые комп технологии, как говорится все гениальное просто!

Хотя я бы не сказал что у америкосов военная техника так уж прямо проигрывает, SR71 в свое время летал быстрее любой совковй ракеты пво, истребителей 5 поколения у них штампуют кучам. @ersh2033 Можно в цифрах пожалуйсто когда и в каких воздушных боях сушки рвали истребители 5 поколения америкосов? Югославия? Ирак? В России гражданской авиации не существует как таковой если сравнивать с сша, в сша каждую неделю проходит какое-то авиашоу, а иногда и не одно в неделю, в Росиии с лучшем случае 1-2 раза в год. Статисктика кто как летает вполне открыта, нет смысла сравнивать. Про военное патрулирование и авиабазы по всему миру американские я вобще молчу.

Russian aircrafts are very good and reliable, the reason why they might have a bad reputation by western countries is because (offcourse) political reasons, and because some airlines do very poor maintenance which leads (in worst case) to a crash.
Beautiful Aircraft! Although I am Airbus fan it is really a pitty that the IL-96 didn't make it into the international airlines. I would love to see it in Europe. Sometimes I travel to Antalya where it is allowed to land and I am alwas amazed by that elegant Plane.

As much hate as I hear spouted about russian planes, the majority of my favorite planes happen to be russian. I love Russian aerotech for some reason, especially the beloved Antonov 225.

@ILTUSU because the 300 is just like the A330-300 it just has an extra two engines... with extra fuel and can do similar distances to the A330-200 as in i like the 500 AND 600 because they can go twice as further
The fact that it doesn't sell so much is because of funding given to Aeroflot by Boeing and Airbus wich makes it cheaper for Aeroflot to use Boeings and Airbus planes.
Not because of quality. If the IL-96 was build buy a Western builder we would see them fly in large numbers all over the World.
Most Western countries feel obligated to buy US build planes outside of Airbus.
how can you compare AIRBUS and BOEING to that ILYUSHIN IL 96? many countries buy military planes from RUSSIA wouldn't buy a russian civil aircraft at all, even russian carriers wont.
Why can't i compare it? The IL-96 is a great airliner of very high quality. It's structural strenght is the strongest around. Ilyushins are known for that. I already said that Aeroflot got funding to buy Western planes and because of wrong views about Russian planes Western people don't trust them and that is simply ridiculous because under same maintenance Russian planes last longer because of their structural integrity.
People should fear Boeings because they have a reputation of loosing parts like tails, engines, doors, elevator bolts and even roofs. Many design flaws occured with Boeing.
Also loads of blow outs..
(structural failures due to decompression) Russian planes don't loose parts or break apart in mid air.
Also restrictions have been set on several Russian planes because they are too noisy and not allowed to land on several airports
To stay alive and compete with Western carriers Aeroflot didn't have much choice.
Especially after the collapse of the USSR wich cripled the Russian economy and with that it's aircraft building capacity. All reasons for Aeroflot to buy Western planes.

safety records. IL-86 only 1 accident with fatalities in 30 years of operation and IL-96
Many, mostly American people here on YT bash the older IL-62 a lot while it has a far better safety record than both the Boeing 707 and McDonnel Douglas DC-8 from the same class and era. But they don't know that.
And it was build for 32 years and about 50
still fly today.
The IL-62 was the first Soviet intercontinental jet airliner. It was able to land on water as a special safety feature because of crossing the atlantic ocean. It can also land on gras fields. Video on YT!!
The IL-62 replaced one of the safest planes of all time, the counter rotating turbo prop engined Tupolev TU-114 wich competed against Western jet airliners and easily stood its ground. It flew at speeds wich modern jet airliners fly today!! It was in service for 30 years and retired in 1991.
It's STILL the fastest prop plane ever made.
It carried up to 224 passengers!

Really one nice looking airplane, but can I say it looks like a copy Airbus, the wings seem to have the same sweep back as an Airbus 340. Would look better with a Boeing 747 sweep back.

@ersh2033 Недавно пассажиры рейса Москва—Петрозаводск оценили свое родное, когда в аэропорту не было средств ILS и пришлось на старом самолете без современной авионики и средств навигации садиться практически в слепую. Кому-то может и доставляет удовольствие ценить свое родное, разъезжая на в(т)азах и прославляя уже давно устаревшие совковые машины, но я почему-то уверен, свои сообщения вы не пишете с родных компьютеров типа Искра 226, а скорей всего что-то типа Intell\AMD\Mac.

И это при том что у американцев огромный военный бюджет и более развитые комп технологии, как говорится все гениальное просто!

Хотя я бы не сказал что у америкосов военная техника так уж прямо проигрывает, SR71 в свое время летал быстрее любой совковй ракеты пво, истребителей 5 поколения у них штампуют кучам. Да и самое главное - у них есть керосин летать на них постоянно, а не в теории изучать))

В России гражданской авиации не существует как таковой если сравнивать с сша, в сша каждую неделю проходит какое-то авиашоу, а иногда и не одно в неделю, в Росиии с лучшем случае 1-2 раза в год. Статисктика кто как летает вполне открыта, нет смысла сравнивать. Про военное патрулирование и авиабазы по всему миру американские я вобще молчу.

Блин, какой красавец. Кстати, где-то читал, что Ил-96 считается самым надёжным самолётом в мире, обойдя в этом даже А-380 и B-787. С ним не было ещё ни одной аварии. И дело не в том, что их мало. Russian aircrafts are very good and reliable, the reason why they might have a bad reputation by western countries is because (offcourse) political reasons, and because some airlines do very poor maintenance which leads (in worst case) to a crash.

Beautiful Aircraft! Although I am Airbus fan it is really a pitty that the IL-96 didn't make it into the international airlines. I would love to see it in Europe. Sometimes I travel to Antalya where it is allowed to land and I am alwas amazed by that elegant Plane.

The IL-96 is an amazing plane.
The fact that it doesn't sell so much is because of funding given to Aeroflot by Boeing and Airbus wich makes it cheaper for Aeroflot to use Boeings and Airbus planes.
Not because of quality. If the IL-96 was build buy a Western builder we would see them fly in large numbers all over the World.
Most Western countries feel obligated to buy US build planes outside of Airbus.
It's politics and nothing else.

Why can't i compare it? The IL-96 is a great airliner of very high quality. It's structural strenght is the strongest around. Ilyushins are known for that. I already said that Aeroflot got funding to buy Western planes and because of wrong views about Russian planes Western people don't trust them and that is simply ridiculous because under same maintenance Russian planes last longer because of their structural integrity.

People should fear Boeings because they have a reputation of loosing parts like tails, engines, doors, elevator bolts and even roofs. Many design flaws occured with Boeing.
Also loads of blow outs..
(structural failures due to decompression) Russian planes don't loose parts or break apart in mid air.
Also restrictions have been set on several Russian planes because they are too noisy and not allowed to land on several airports
in Western countries.

To stay alive and compete with Western carriers Aeroflot didn't have much choice.
Especially after the collapse of the USSR wich cripled the Russian economy and with that it's aircraft building capacity. All reasons for Aeroflot to buy Western planes.
Both the IL-86 and IL-96 have excellent
safety records. IL-86 only 1 accident with fatalities in 30 years of operation and IL-96
no accidents in 18 years of operation.

Many, mostly American people here on YT bash the older IL-62 a lot while it has a far better safety record than both the Boeing 707 and McDonnel Douglas DC-8 from the same class and era. But they don't know that.
And it was build for 32 years and about 50
still fly today.
The IL-62 was the first Soviet intercontinental jet airliner. It was able to land on water as a special safety feature because of crossing the atlantic ocean. It can also land on gras fields. Video on YT!!

The IL-62 replaced one of the safest planes of all time, the counter rotating turbo prop engined Tupolev TU-114 wich competed against Western jet airliners and easily stood its ground. It flew at speeds wich modern jet airliners fly today!! It was in service for 30 years and retired in 1991.
It's STILL the fastest prop plane ever made.
It carried up to 224 passengers!

Может кто объяснит, нефига не пойму, почему так упорно слизывается дизайн у западных образцов самолетов. Или арэродинамика для всех одинакова.. А компановка движков? силовые агригаты импортные, авионика импортное. Что там вообще остается от Российской авиации..?

Really one nice looking airplane, but can I say it looks like a copy Airbus, the wings seem to have the same sweep back as an Airbus 340. Would look better with a Boeing 747 sweep back.

Yes, but the primary design had been developing in the early 80-ies (IL-86)! This plane is just deep evolution of IL-86.
