  • Maybe if he wasnt resisting things wouldve gone more smoothly

  • study aiki and the C.rook O.n P.atrol would have been on the ground.

  • @ocleox how can you tell that from the video????????? Einstein....

  • This isn't a good example of it but the NBPD has had a lot of incidents where they used unnecessary force. My friend's frat got raiding because of one of the brothers selling drugs and the police broke one of the guys nose and a few other were pretty bloodied up. They took them to court and won as well.

  • @Scubazteve yippe!!!!............now if more filed tort claims the better..........because Law Enforcement training doe not teach you this...........its hot headed.... officer .....who don't know how to control their adrenaline....and lost their fucking mind on people ....this was excessive force.

  • Police are pretty corrupt.

Police vs Criminals: Bad guys versus Bad guys.

  • oh please that wasnt even that bad. if the kid was black it woulda been wayyyyy worse.

  • Why the heck do people think they can fight cops and get away with it? If he just cooperated he probably wouldn't of been arrested in the first place. People think they can assault police officers and get away with it. This guy probably learned that is incorrect. Good job officers. Get these pricks off the street.

  • DAMN......great quality!!!

  • if you resist arrest, you deserve to be punched. I mean if you are fighting with the cops what do u expect them to do, ask nicely?

  • @ridore9 Cops are held to a different standard because they go out everyday and put their life on the line to protect and serve the community. I dont see you doing it. They have one of the most dangerous jobs out there, so don't gimme that whiney BS they get special treatment. Try to do their job.

And just to let all of you know, the guy was NOT punched in the face. He was punched in the arm because he wouldn't give up his hand you can hear the cops saying "Give me your other arm."

  • Brutally beaten? Not by a long shot. People who feel it was unjustified have never worried about protecting themselves and the people around them. Plain and simple... he was under arrest and chose not to comply. Everything looked justified to me.

  • GUY WATCH THE BREAK DOWN AND LISTEN TO THE COPS SAY WE'RE THE ONLY ONES HERE I HOPE THE COPS GET SUED AND IM SURE THEIR ARE WITH THIS VIDEO BREAKDOWN /watch?v=vBjFFedvP8o /watch?v=vBjFFedvP8o /watch?v=vBjFFedvP8o

  • GUY WATCH THE BREAK DOWN /watch?v=vBjFFedvP8o

  • Oh, it's brilliant that people who have never done the job have so many "expert" opinions on the way it should be done.

Tell me, geniuses, how is it you subdue someone without using force, when they forcibly resist police?

There are no doubt videos all over the internet of improper police conduct. THIS is NOT one of them.

  • ill take a couple punches in the face for some money

  • cops are not educated at all

  • CRAZY COP CANT CONTROL HIS TEMPER IS A DANGER TO THE PEOPLE. IM SURE HE BEATS HIS WIFE EVERY DAY. REAMS HER ASS WITH THE NIGHT STICK

  • KEEP A VID CAM IN THE CAR AT ALL TIMES

  • some of you ignorant people should do what they do for just one day. then you might have a fucking clue as to what you're talking about. maybe next time they shouldn't do anything to subdue him, let him run loose and cause more fuckin havoc in your community. some people commenting on here are so fuckin dumb.

  • @iammike29 You are the IGNORANT one here.............

  • @iammike Fuck you, you sound like a pig and no one told them to get into that line of work can't stand the heat gtfo the kitchen only good cop is a dead cop and how is he resisting arrest theirs a breakdown of the video where with the cops own lights off the police car you see the cop already holding his arm up and about to put it in cuffs and the cop has the other arm and from what i know they did a toxicology test he wasn't even on drugs or alcohol you dumb fuck everyone at the school knows

  • @iammike29 that too idiot I hope the cops get sued they're pretty fucking dumb and don't realize cameras not only work in their favor but also against them next time those dumb fucks should look up and around harder I'm happy my friend punched like 3 cops in the face and only got sent to a mental institutions

  • That's bullshit I hope the cops get sued atleast... We need more street justice and people with balls to record shit like this cops don't seem to know that video evidence works both ways againts them and with them

  • Exactly how dangerous is a drunk kid pinned facedown on the street with 5 guys on top? Sure they could just use their strength to cuff him but why would they bother when they could take the frustration of having to let their coffee get cold out on his face. Hell, I'd be mad too if i never got to go to college and had to see how happy college kids are every day. There's plenty of people I'd love to punch every day but only cops can do whatever they want - speed, beat people with sticks, etc...

  • TO: junkpot17 -you little arrogant fuckstick! You have the nerve to speak like that of a dead officer who was only doing his job properly and whos family will never get to see him again? Your fucking lucky I dont know where you are cause the beating this kid got in the video would greatly pale in comparrison to what I would do to you! YOUR A FUCKING PUNK BITCH!

  • Fucking PIGS!!!!! The guy who did the piece of shit pig in Lakewood deserves a medal! Fuck cops and their mothers for having them.

  • COPS GANGING UP ON ANYBODY?

COPS TAKING SHOTS WHILE A PERSON IS DOWN?

    COPS PLANTING EVIDENCE?

COPS ILLEGAL SEARCH AND SEIZURES? Yeah, that would never happen, right?

    Welcome to the Police State!

  • i love how there's about 7-8 guys on one guy, talk about going out to protect the city.

they cannot handle one guy, oh and if you add numbers thats about 669K worth of salary for one guy. So you serve and protect and gives you the right to be a jack ass to people when your not in a good mood also right????

  • another proud member of Rutgers student body, or as we like to say another spoiled brat who doesn't know how to comply to a simple police command, Calling this brutal is a joke. A Rutgers student committing suicide because he was mad a laughing stock, now that was Brutal

  • @fdny442 that wasn't brutal every homo on earth should follow that guys lead it would be a better world.

  • Comment removed

  • BRUTAL OR NOT THE COPS HAD NO RIGHT PUNCHING HIM! I cant believe anyone would think thats fair! Its just some young college kid that got drunk. I don't see him resisting in any way! I hate these people that think what those pigs did was fair when its not. Hes not a gang member, he didnt kill anyone, he didnt rape anyone, just some random college guy. What if that were a family member of yours or a freind? Anyone that says what they did was ok is IGNORANT!

  • look at all the criminal justice majors come out to spout a bunch of ignorant dribble. How much resistance can someone put up if five grown men are on top of you.? That is not a textbook case of resisting arrest. You are telling me that the cop who punched him couldn't tuck his arm back? Sure, force is an arguable strategy here, but i think trained officers can think of something more clever than straight punches to the face.

  • Bad cop, no donut! Listen, I respect the need for a police force, but the American police is a state-sactioned terrorist organization that often stands between people and the constitution. This is brutality. I go to Rutgers, I know these cops have a real chip on their shoulder. Is "get the fuck up" really the best way to speak to those you swore to protect? Take a look at police videos in Britain for an example of how cops can be polite, courteous and still get the job done.

  • New Brunswick cops are fuck heads and any cops at that.!!! The bad ones give everyone department a bad name and lack of tryst in the people who really need there help... To much money involved just to starve and protect...!! He wasn't even resisting i wouldn't doubt that they were just screaming that shit just to play it off so yet can look like the quote (good guys) ?? Lol yeah right!!!! There fucking ass holes!!!!! But not all cops are.....

  • cops are just d bags that were never cool in college

  • I love how people say cops live such dangerous lives, they aren't even in the top 10 according to the Department of Labor. Farmers have have twice the fatality rate of cops, and they're the only reason you get food. I never hear people saying "You have NO IDEA what farmers go through and never will!"

That was a shot at you, norcaljoel.

  • "Stop resisting" -- the mantra of rapists, cops, and other violent degenerates.

  • You know, after everything is said and done. fighting over the internet is like participating in the special Olympics, it doesn't matter if you win, your still a retard.

  • Bravo, I'm glad to see cops finally beating up dumb, drunk, white conservative self entitled college students. This happens to black people every day!

I’m sure he was out at the bars the next night quoting Beck and Levine with his buds!

  • @4NrAGS no keep it up. it exposes injustice.

  • . . I ended up with some bruises on my side from some elbows they threw and my left arm was hella sore from the hold one pig got me in. I told the homies about it but that was about it. why? BECAUSE THIS SHIT HAPPENS EVERYDAY IF YOU'RE BROWN OR BLACK. we've become complacent and institutionalized to this shit. so much so that to complain seem futile. so one fratboy gets it and it's featured on HuffPo . . smh. wow.

youtube Oscar Grant. please. google amadou diallo . .

  • I'm Mexican, I'm 22 and weigh around 120. once I got slammed by 2 pigs onto my car so bad my chin hit the hood of my car while they had me in some armbar. then they both pressed their entire body weight onto me and placed their elbow on my head as they repeated "stop resisting". in no way did I threaten them but they bugged out when I went to open the trunk of my car to show them the paint on my fingers was from shirts I'd spraypaint NOT from tagging the park as they tried to say I was doing . .

  • I no this kid and i no that he would never "resist" 5 cops around him.. and to get hit in the head? He wouldn't try to do anything to get them to hit him even once!! Fuck the police they're pussies who hide behind the badge.. let me have you on the ground face down and punch you in the face several times! Fuck you!

  • that was one officer this kid was under 5, and i do come from a family of law enforcement and am quite aware of what they do . if you look at the second video the cops push him to the ground and after picking him up they smash him in the face then pull his sweatshirt over his face . these were a bunch of animals getting cheap shots in

  • I disagree, there were more than enough officers there to hold him and cuff him. there is NO EXCUSE for punching and hitting. My ex was a cop and in what the Prosecutors called "a moment in time" he snapped, and slammed our 5 mo old son head first into a wall crushing his skull and killing him!!! He took our son's life, traumatized me for life! And only got 7 yrs. with 85% but only served 4 yrs. and 3 mos. Because he was a cop! Good cops are very few far between. Where's the justice in that ??

  • hes not resisting at all lol 26 people are cops

  • fucking grimey pigs...the police are a bunch of straight up pussies

  • Comment removed

  • pigs. police are shit

  • Whoever he is rooting for the police,

    FUCK YOU!

  • LMAO all the negative commentstowards me. NBPD and RUPD were justified and did everything by the book. PERIOD!!!!

  • @NITROSALEEN what do u know

  • Don't resist, don't get handled, easy as that...

  • Typically when people resist arrest they need to be ruffed up a little ssubdue so lets not pretend like this wasn't warrented

  • what camera did you film this with jeez

  • First and foremost: dont get arrested and you dont have to worry about getting beat. Secondly, you cann see the kid is obviously resisting, even after he is cuffed and being taken to the cruiser...

  • "were the only ones here? good." 3 punches later WTF!

  • Comment removed

  • To those that cry that this is excessive force, I say shut your mouths unless you are willing to step up and wear the badge! You have NO IDEA what law enforcement goes through and never will! It is the efforts of LEO's that keep you sleeping peacefully in your beds at night, while they take to the streets to watch over you!

  • @norcaljoel yo twat face. learn respect for other human beings. u must be a pathetic cop who went to high school w the mentality of a bully, realized u wont be anywhere in life and became a cop. fucking pathetic bitch.

  • @Shaboyishys ...How very mature of you.

  • @norcaljoel I didn't know they were doing it for free. Wow what a nice group of gentleman they are.

  • @norcaljoel Watch over who? Police very rarely prevent crimes, they react to them. Wearing the badge has become a very well paying profession, so be professional. Listen to how they speak to him, they sound no better than a punk fighting in the streets. Police forces throughout this country think of themselves as paramilitary and not as professional police officers. It is sad. Oh, by the way, it 's the .45 that is next to me that allows me to "sleep peacefully".

  • That was brutal? Really? I guess you've lived a bit of a sheltered life, Jerz15. Just what exactly do you think police should do when trying to handcuff a guy who has been fighting, and refuses to allow himself to be cuffed? Force needs to be met with force sometimes. A few strikes had the desired effect and they were able to cuff him. Then the police backed off immediately. If he had cooperated to begin with there would have been NO strikes. Only an idiot would call this "brutal"

  • @booogalooo2 You fucking pussy. You are trying to tell me that 6 pigs can't handcuff a 20 year old. Oh I see, he was about to turn green and about to start flipping cars...... Do me a favor stick your thumb up your mothers asshole for a few seconds, pull it out, smell it and if it doesn't smell like shit! I'll believe you that this is not brutal.

  • @flacknice101 - Wow, tough to argue with that logic, flucky. You must be on the debate team at school? Hey, just a thought... you ever try to handcuff someone that doesn't want to be handcuffed? Didn't think so. I have. What the officers did was appropriate and legal. And you best be careful. If your mommy sees you using language like that she might take away your computer.

  • @booogalooo2 Legal? Really? taking cheap shots on a person while 6 grown men are holding him down?WOW right back at you cause you are a bigger asshole than i thought. What the fuck is the mase for? tell me Einstein. Oh and I'm old enough to get every legal female in your family knocked up.......Legal?.....Fuck you. The guy was in a street fight he didn't blew up the towers. This is one of the reason that makes many people hate cops, even the good ones. Don't be a PIG! be a fair OFFICER!

  • @flacknice101 , Well, you just shot down your own argument, Einstein. You said the arrestee was in a street fight. Yep, you are correct. So while he is fighting you want the cops to just ask nicely and wait until he stops fighting to cuff him? Ridiculous. They clearly kept asking him to cooperate. Hey, try this experiment. Get someone half your size. Tell them to lie face down and try to keep you from getting their hands behind their back. It won't be as easy as you think.

  • @booogalooo2 Jesus Christ I'mnot arguing about the officers that took the guy down he had it coming. Im talking about that fucking pig taking cheap shots a the guy while he's already down. Thats my fucking agument mase the fucker don't hit him only a FAG/BITCH would do something like that FUCKING PIG did. Not a real man!

  • @booogalooo2 yo twat face. learn respect for other human beings. u must be a pathetic cop who went to high school w the mentality of a bully, realized u wont be anywhere in life and became a cop. fucking pathetic bitch.

  • @booogalooo2 This is America you dumb fuck. Only a brainwashed retard like yourself would call this acceptable. You been sitting in class getting your brains bleached out huh? You like it when cops beat people? That's because a little spineless pussy like yourself would never be in a situation where they had to get arrested. I bet you're the kind of person who writes "nigger" on the bathrooms in Livingston, cause you're a pussy lol...

  • @booogalooo2 there was like 6 cops there. I am sure they could have cuffed his ass without punching him in the face. It is unnecessary.

  • @booogalooo2 yo shut the fuck up how many pigs does it take to cuff 1 kid??? yea i get it he might have resisted but comeon man...6 grown men against a college kid

    realllll fare

  • @trul0yalty i love your comment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! people always talk about BS when these things happen.....what THE HELL IS SOMEONE SUPPOSED TO DO WITH 2 COPS WITH KNEES ON YOUR BACK ONE HOLDING YOUR HEAD DOWN TO COLD BLACK-TOP.....THE HUMAN REACTION IS TO PANIC BUT THEIR ARE OTHER TECHNIQUES THAT YOU ARE TAUGHT IN LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING TO MAKE HIM PUT HIS HAND BACK...

  • @booogalooo2 as usual stupid is as stupid does.............how many punches was needed...you don't know why he didn't place his hand behind his back............he had knees in his back already...where was he going to go??????????it was brutal and that is not taught in Law Enforcement training.

  • @caress1900 So... You say I don't know why he didn't place his hands behind his back? Because he wanted to fight! Do you think this started with all these cops and him on the ground? He was already fighting with them, refusing to comply or be handcuffed. They got him to the ground and he kept fighting. He was obviously very strong because they were unable to get him cuffed. So they struck him a couple times. You fight with cops you get hit! He could have stopped fighting at any time.

  • i hate cops as much as the next guy, but what's the point of resisting arrest. there are five of them around you. if you didn't do anything wrong, just go peacefully.

  • don't do illegal things=don't get punched in the face. is it really that hard?

  • haha all the cops were looking around to see who was watching, little did they kno it was all being recorded...

  • So all the police need to yell is "stop resisting" and then it's okay to beat a detained civilian? What a world

  • He shouldn't have punched him but it's hardly "brutally beaten". And let's stop trying to make the criminals who get "brutally beaten" by the cops out to be like living saints. "Oh, the poor choir boy was just standing there minding his own business." This guy was in a fight before and then attacked a cop. Too bad, so sad for him to get punched in the face a few times.

  • Although he wasn't "brutally" beaten, that cop is a grade-A asshole. fuck him. the kid's got 5 cops on top of him, is he really going to break free? also, you're a pussy if you need to punch a kid in the face 5 times to make him "stop resisting". fire this motherfucker!

  • STOP RESISTING! GET READY FOR BIG BROTHER!

  • "Stop resisting" is a bunch of bullshit. All those cops weigh 250 each and work out every day. Theres no need to fucking beat up people like that. Savages. I hope they all get some hot lead in their heads.

  • FREE JAHMELL CROCKAM

  • The man was resisting..the cops were not attacking him and punching him..they were trying to handcuff him..3 punches..brutal beating? No. the guy was arrested for taking part in a brawl so the picture in the news of his bruised face is from that..not this police "beating"..everything is so exaggerated

  • They will lose their power soon.

  • since when is 4 punches brutally beaten, pussys

  • I wish it was Justin Bieber getting that thrashing! Thumbs up if you agree!

  • @snix226 1. any parents the hits there kid shouldnt of had kids in the first place, (sry thats just my opinion!) my parents would never hit me. and 2, a parents hitting a kid is A LOT different than 5 cops kicking the shit out of 1 guy. come on now.

  • @snix226 just the guy was just laying there not resisting arrest and being over powered by 5 cops. and my parents never hit me. thats EXTREMELY wrong !

  • i really dont see how he deserved it. all i see is some kid laying on the floor while cops scream "stop resisting" when hes just laying there and having 5 guys kick the shit out of 1 scared college kid. not right at all.

  • He was resisting arrest, when resisting officers can match the suspects force and use as much force needed for the suspect to comply. You see the shift supervising sgt. Standing there if something was against protocol he woulda stepped in They could not of tasered the man because it would risk tasing the other officers, you need everyone off the suspect in order to tase him. Thus getting the cops off of him would cause more danger and even more outcries of brutality.

  • wow very commendable officers. i've never heard such horrible language being used by an officer of the law. must be/be friends with the same officer who packed a huge lip of chewing tobacco when attempting to arrest a student for drinking on the sidewalk. very professional. someone needs to investigate the NBPD, just sayin...

  • whats funny is that drunk college student probably has more education under his belt then the power tripped cop. Cops dont even need to go to college they can go to the police academy to be a cop and most of them do it because either 1. they actually are a good person thats dreamed of being a cop since young, or a dumb kid not smart enough for college that decided to go to the academy instead. The amount of police brutality cases is through the roof, they are supposed to protect us not hurt us

  • @Hotchkisse0280 most departments require a college degree to get hired with them. a lot of the bigger departments like NYPD, etc. do not require it just to fill the ranks.

  • @Hotchkisse0280

You clearly have absolutely no understanding of the hiring process for police officers in NJ. One cannot simply "go to the academy instead." Academy recruits in NJ must be hired as probationary police officers before being allowed to attend the basic course for police officers. The only exception to this is alternate route recruits, who must have completed at least 60 credits before being allowed to compete for very limited slots in a very competitive program.

  • I like how the police officer knows what he did was wrong (him looking both ways RIGHT after is about as blatant of a signal as you can get). Simple fact of the matter is they had him outnumbered 5 to 1. Punching him 4 times was unnecessary and, as such, a blatant use of excessive force - less force could have achieved the same end. Hence, police brutality.

The fact that it could have been a worse "beaten" doesn't change the fact that this is wrong.

  • This bonehead said he didn't know it was the police he was fighting. liar!. glad it was a white boy so nobody can complain the police are all racist. Good job, officers.

  • Good job NBPD!

  • @NJD369CI I always wanted to be a cop its just that beatin up and harrassin lil kids, and old ppl was never my style. Youd make a perfect cop tho.

  • @LuDimezofKush dont you love seein cops beat up civilians....Nothing more beautiful then the biggest gang in the world beat up regular civilians like me and you.

  • yall are pussys if you consider this a brutal beating

  • "I punch people in the face when they are on the ground and 4 of my buddies are stepping on him. B-b-but my job is hard. Why don't people like police?"... fucking pussy ass pig, go eat a donut you psycho fucktard.

  • Average citizens are not used to seeing real violence, even though they see fake violence constantly. So when they see 100% justified use of force, they are horrified, offended, shocked, whatever. We are reaching the point where ANY use of force by police is automatically perceived as excessive. No matter how justified, use of force rarely looks "good" on video. It's violent and messy, but someone has to do it. If you don't want to have force used on you, don't resist arrest.

  • Well he should of never resisted arrest!!!

  • Popo 1 - Dumb Rutgers Student 0!!

  • They teach you this stuff in training, the use of force thing; be it deadly, reasonable, or excessive.

  • All he did was use reasonable force to subdue the suspect.

  • I love how a student, with little experience in his full life time (21-30 years old) thinks that he understands how law enforcement works. Would you go into a hospital and then begin to comment on how a heart surgeon is doing a horrible job being a 26 year old business major? Because everyone knows how everything should be done with no training or understanding of the field. That's all this video is, a student who watched too much TV and thinks he knows what a cop should do. be a cop, then judge

  • @Sierra0714 Heart surgery is actually difficult. Anyone can become a cop. It doesn't take a genius to see that the kid was pretty well subdued and that punching him in the face a few times didn't help the situation at all. That asshole needs to be fired.

  • @RabidLlama182 I agree heart surgery is difficult, but so is being a cop in a diff way. It might look easy to give people tickets for driving like idiots, but it's a lot more than that. Most people don't do well under stress, they freeze up or over react. When your in a foot pursuit after someone who just shot at people and your adrenaline is through the roof, it's harder to make clear decisions. A lot of people say, there's no way I'd be able to do that, they wouldn't say that if it was easy.

  • @Sierra0714 yeah ok one guy vs like 6 full grown men he's already on the floor and ur gonna punch him really? thats the standard operating procedure for cops huh?

  • @ridore9 if you have ever tried to pull someones hands out from under them when they are using their full strength to keep them under their body you'll understand how hard it is. If your a big burly guy you might tear the rotator cuff now you getting sued because he has serious damage. It's a catch 22...violence cant be solved by saying "please, please, please, please put your hands behind your back...I don't want to yell." Am i saying it's always jusitifed, no, but it has it's place.

  • @ridore9

As per NJ's Attorney General Guidelines, police officers are authorized to use force "to overcome resistance directed at the officer or others; or ... to effect other lawful objectives, such as to make an arrest." The AG Guidelines specifically allow us to use "wrist locks or arm locks, striking with the hands or feet, or other similar methods of hand-to-hand confrontation." The use of force in the situation was 100% justified.

  • @Wm541 yeah b/c we all know just how clean the justice system is.. It's perfect you know. The police are never wrong. They can kill people and get nothing at all but the cop was completely right. Unarmed guy. Already surrounded. I'm sure the cop was thinking about the guidline when he did that. He was just a pissed off cop who wanted to punch some one

  • @ridore9

Even if he WAS "just a pissed off cop who wanted to punch some one (sic)," - and that's a ridiculous assertion to begin with - he'd be justified in doing so. The subject was actively resisting arrest, had already assaulted one officer, and continually refused to give up his hands. Everything these officers did was not only well within the scope of their training, but completely legal. The use of force is never pretty, and it never looks good on camera, but it's completely justified.

  • @Wm541 yup everything a cop does is always justified. They beat the crap outta people can it gets caught on tape and they still get a slap on the wrist (not talkin about this incident) The bigger issue i have is cops in general are held to a dif standard and its not right to give them special treatment. A cop in lake was killed a while back and everyone was going crazy even those who didnt know him. He coulda been the worst person but no one cared b/c he was a cop

  • @ridore9 It was established that the cop in Lakewood was a good person if you read some articles. That's why everyone was going crazy about it, because he ACTUALLY was a good person.

  • @Wm541 the cops were there to stop the fight not join in

  • @damarx396

And how were the officers to do that without using force? Should they have asked him nicely to stop resisting their efforts to take him into custody? I'm sure that would've worked.

  • @Wm541 well there is something very wrong with that department when it takes 5 men on one kid and still cant get him in custody, what are they keystone cops. and still after he was secure that's when delivered their their beating that is on clearly on the video. the cops behaved like a bunch of wild animals rather then the police who are the ones to serve and protect.

  • @damarx396

That is absolutely false. He was most certainly not 'secure' when the officers used hand strikes to bring him into compliance. His hands were under his stomach, and he was still very actively resisting. Police officers can - AND WILL - use force in such a situation. The officers' actions were warranted, and completely legal.

  • @Wm541 if u look at the video u can clearly see his right hand already cuffed and his left hand is not under him u can see it. but most of all like i said how much of a threat is one kid to 5 cops. how much of a threat is anyone under 5 people not to mention 5 trained cops. they were easy sucker punches from cowards.

  • @damarx396

You clearly have no law enforcement experience. How much of a threat is one kid to five cops? How about we ask the friends and family of Mary Ann Collura, who was shot and killed by a suspect who had already been tackled to the ground by another officer? I'm sure they'd gladly explain just how much of a threat one person can be. The video clearly shows the student resisting, and the officers acting in compliance with the Attorney General Guidelines.

  • @Sierra0714 lol theres a big difference between a doctor and a cop! lol

  • @diggy2121 No, Officer I'm not a liberal actually a libertarian and if the reality of police work is incomprehensible, don't do the job, leave it to professionals. Regardless, there is no excuse to ever beat a citizen who is face down and prone with 5 adults with there knees in his spine and neck. This is an easy lawsuit with the taxpayers being fleeced in the end.

  • The bitch deserved it! How many times do they have to say "Stop resisting" before the dumbass realizes he's gonna get arrested regardless of what he does ... but hey what should we all expect from a Rutgers student ... nothing less then pure stupidity

  • @23Guitardood Police are trained to yell "stop resisting" while beating or tasing you.

  • @xxbobdeexx How many times did they yell stop resisting prior to punching him? Watch the video again .. also that photo the dumbass took of himself does nothing in his defense because it's obvious those injuries to his face are not conducive to punches to the face, but are actually scrapes from falling on the pavement .. no punch can do that .. he would be bruised not scraped .. police are allowed to use force if the perp is resisting arrest .. which he clearly was .. so, he deserved what he got

  • @kdm82341 How could he be resisting? Ok so it's impossible to resist against 5 people thats what you're saying? Have you ever watched anything on Cops or any other crime show like that? Anything is possible, and you can see him making it difficult for the cops to cuff him in the video, so get your fat head out of your ass and watch the video again. oh and I have known plenty of morons over the years that deserved to be punched in the head 4 times while being held down. you are on that list

  • "Rutgers Student Brutally Beaten BY NBPD" PULL-EEZE, this idiot got what he deserved. Jerz15, you need to grow up.

  • 2.) If the student sues the police and wins, the taxpayer has to pay. No lesson learned. I would like to see laws that would enable citizens to sue the officers directly, then maybe we will see less brutality and more professionalism.

  • 1.) The police certainly do not serve or protect..there job is that of a revenue officer for the bureaucrats that would excercise authority over us. The Supreme Court has ruled several times that the police do not have a constitutional duty to protect, that said, with 5 to 6 police with thier knees in his spine and neck I hardley see resistance, what I do see is a easy lawsuit for the student.

  • dachamp700 is a C*M smuggling MORON!

As for the putz that shot this video, you will one day need the assistance of law enforcement!

Maybe when you venture into Newark to buy some weed the brotha's rip you out of the car, beat the piss and shit out of you, steal your money, clothes, and car, leaving you in the hood, bare ass, bleeding, and crying for your momma!

  • Please do not judge them until you have walked a mile in their shoes.

These men and women you are so quick to abuse.

For behind the badge is a Father a Mother that has a family of their own,

they plan to return to when their duty is done.

They miss birthdays and holidays and the list goes on. Just to protect your wife your son.

The pay is bad the days are long and still they put the uniform on.

  • So think about it if you would, for just a moment if you could,

the horrors they face every day are the ones we pray never come our way.

They hold a child as he dies and comfort the mother as she cries.

And yet you complain about a speeding ticket you obtained.

Many have paid the ultimate price, giving up their life,

to Serve and Protect you and I.

So please get a clue and do not judge them until you have walked a mile in their shoes!

  • tAKEN FROM A COWORKERS PAGE -----In my professional opinion I don't think they were facial or head shots and I definitely don't think he was cuffed. Its my perception that he is striking him in the back/shoulder region to attempt a "stun" with the intentions of making him ...loosen his rigid position and stop resisting. Its reasons like this that we here in Maryland prefer the all mighty Taser, it usually does the trick and makes them loose that adrenaline rush real fast.

  • @NITROSALEEN Haven't you seen the pics of this exemplary youth after said incident? Judging by his bruises he clearly suffered trauma about the face and head. The young man obviously had too much to drink and got into an unfortunate incident before the police arrived. What we see are reliable and responsible officers wiping the young man's face of any debris it might have attracted during the previous incidents and then gently helping him to his feet.

  • @NITROSALEEN

So punching people in the head and face makes them "loosen up"? Call me when you're stressed out, I'll punch you in the face repeatedly to loosen you up there, pal.

  • 2C:3-7. Use of force in law enforcement a. Use of force justifiable to effect an arrest. Subject to the provisions of this section and of section 2C:3-9, the use of force upon or toward the person of another is justifiable when the actor is making or assisting in making an arrest and the actor reasonably believes that such force is immediately necessary to effect a lawful arrest. This perp was clearly resisiting no ifs ands or buts. Open ur eyes u liberals!!

  • Sworn law enforcement officers have been granted the extraordinary authority to

use force when necessary to accomplish lawful ends. That authority is grounded in the

responsibility of every sworn law enforcement officer

  • To all New Brunswick and Rutgers Police thank you for protecting us citizens from all walks of life. Iam truly grateful! As for those idiots that taped ,posted and commented against the PD I wish u all extremely bad karma which will be hitting u soon and hope i never have to run into to u.. SAVE A SEAL CLUB A LIBERAL!!!

  • THOSE PUNCHES WERE TO GET THAT GUYS ELBOW TO BEND SO HE COULD BE PLACE UNDER CONTROL

  • Ignorant idiot I really hope someone hunts u down and beats u to a pulp. That dude jumped on a cops back. Most of the time when your placed under arrest u put your hands behind your back and bingo cuffs are on and situation is over. "a few punches" are because that idiot is resisting and even though hand is being held it is still not cuffed so hence using all means necessary to place the perp in restraints. Its not like they kicked or punched him once he was restrained. @sshole! skell
