It depends on what you're needs are. For speed and depth then the monofin will deliver more than the bifin, but for underwater hunting then it will only get in the way. So if you're trying to set a record then get a monofin, otherwise get a pair (bifin).
@EddyThePro It is a lot faster and it is very cool if you wan't to have a good time swimming. Allthough, you might consider that it has poor turning ability compared to bifins.
once I wore my new FINIS monofin ( the shaped one its pink but idcare ) in my community pool and alot of ppl thought I was REAL! Things I heard:
Little Kid: Mermaid touch the bottom?
Me:(I lol'd)

HOW COULD YOU CONVICE THEM TO ALLOW YOU TO ENTER IN THE POOL WITH THE MONOFIN!!!??i want to, but they dont allow me to use it...
