this is one of the greatest films ever made hands down. Its too bad that u cant make a movie like this nowadays because of all the political crap and people being tight about what to show and what not to show in the cinemas.
great job men , you make a good thing with this , this movie is very important for me ,i think is hard to understand ...but the same is diferent after all. greetings from bs. as
Anyone can put music to great film scenes. It just takes a computer and some music. Improving upon it is a different matter entirely. Your choice of music was at best, OK.
Fuck you, Lea(And the rest). This edited masterpiece clearly interprets the psyche of Travis Bickle. I haven't seen a better depiction of Robert De Niro's famous character with scenes and score by far. I don't know you and apologize for my language, but you don't have a good sense of the film "Txi Driver" in terms of the Travis Bickle character.
erhm, taxi driver is about all of this as well, indeed, and this is who travis bickle is, but the film mainly focuses on how travis is losing it and how he is drawn to use violence. And I see none of that here!
I honestly think you might be retarted. The trailer starts off from him just being lonely and gradually gets into him getting angrier at people and using violence, and the film isnt all about how he "has" to use violence.

whoever added this music score (replacing the original) has a terrible, commonplace taste and no artistical sense att all. Shit! Maybe one should consider doing something else with its time other than fooling around and shitting over masterpieces like this movie...
All the anti-heroes of yesterday like cool hand Luke, midnight cowboy, network, Cookoos nest & many more are now replaced by heroes & villains. Now all Americans can follow the finger of the director of which is which & don't have to use their minds anymore these days. Just like politics isn't it. Alternatively, you have the stereotypes of dumb guy vs strong egotistical narcissistic female with an attitude.
Thought so. It really seems to fit. Especially when you consider the joint themes of the two movies (The harmful effects of violence, social values having to be disregarded for a percieved "greater good", isolation of growing paranoia).
they just cant and dont make films like this, i was not even born went it was shot...95% of todays hollywwod BS is crapolla with the same lame story build up and gay predictable endings! Nice work but the original fits 100x better!
nice trailer!

When Betsy walks in the building.. Is that Scorsese sitting near the door?
And walking out is a guy in a "Columbia studios" shirt.

I thought the music was a bit too dramatic, but thats just me

Old news for most of you I'm sure, but that's Martin Scorsese sitting on the step watching 'Betsy' (Cybill Shepherd).

It's more like as though Travis lost it all because of a girl.
True, the girl was the last straw, but she wasn't the main reason for his action.
Well anyways, it's still a pretty good trailer. A like for you. cheers!

not much of a trailer if you give the whole movie away

Can be a trailer still, look at the deer hunter original trailer, the entire film is almost in there.

The Munich theme went well. Didn't think you quite reflected the darker side of the movie but well done.

About 40 seconds in you can see Martin Scorsese in the background, just before the Weird Al lookalike comes out the building.
Richardpd16378 4 years ago
You mean the scene where Cybill Shepard enters the campaign building?
BoondocksOfBoston 4 years ago
Yes that's right, was it supposed to be a Hitchcock style cameo or accidential?
Richardpd16378 4 years ago
does he also do a scene in the cab (you know the one with the guys wife) ?
perksy10001 4 years ago
Yes, supposedly the proper actor didn't turn up & Martin Scorsese did the part himself rather than delay shooting.
I think they were on a right schedule & budget.
