I' m planning a trip to Madagascar. I am interested in how much does it cost to hire a driver and how does it work. Do you hire a driver only from one point to another or you hire him for the whole jurney (3 weeks). How much does the whole trip cost approximately. Is there a possibility to rent a windsurf and what is the price. What is a must see. Which cities would you recommend?

@thierix thanks thierry! we've made a plan for this trip before going, a plan that included some of the things we wanted to see/visit in Mg: animals, rain forests, baobabs, mangrove forests, beaches, etc. We've rented a car with a driver for the whole trip from our hotel from Tana, so we didn't have to worry about how to get to those places. We visited the west,east and the central parts of Mg. My advise for you would be to also rent a car, because the means of transport are very poor in Mg.
