hey, i take pics with a DSLR then i put them in to Monkey Jam to make a video. I play them back in Monkey Jam it looks fine but when I export it out and try to play it, it's really choppy. do you know why that is? thank you!

@xxxrelleumxxx Probably because the file size is so large, and your computer isnt fast enough to play it back in realtime speed.

@Moviemaker926 install drivers for camera, plug camera in, if this does work then your camera probably isnt compatible with monkeyjam.

@Rsteenoven My camara turns of when pluged in to my computer and it always talks about saving pictures not conecting my camara. I think the camara won't work, what camara's do U recomend! (Cheap!)

Well, I don't think you're doing anything wrong, nor do I know how to fix your problem, but I think I can help you.

When entering MonkeyJam, click on "files" on the top left corner, then choose import.

From there, you can import images you've taken into monkeyjam.

So just take the images you need, save them somewhere in your computer, and import them into MonkeyJam later.

@MarioDood10 No you cant import vids but you can import frames. and no it doesnt let you chroma key, you'll need to do that in another program afterwards

hi! my question is:is there a way to slow down the movie that u made of imported photos to make a slide-show maybe? because i made a picture of myself in every day in the year but when i import them to the softvare it plays it very fast . I noticed that u can drag a frame on the layer to set its lenght, but i dont want to repeat that on the other 364 photos. so is there any way to set the speed of the frames or something?

I need to get a firewire for my camera however is there a generic type of firewire that fits every camera or are there diferent wires for different cameras.

Also does a fire wire cable fit where you put a USB or is it a different place.

I know you can make 15FPS on MonkeyJam, but what's the point. I need to make15FPS on APPCS3, right? But if I make it 15FPS the quality is like 200X300. What/How to do???

@spidermonkey881 The way i did it was to export the images to an avi file ( 4:05 ) and then you just open Windows Movie Maker and import that AVI film. I haven't actually added a commentary but I would think that you would record it as an MP3 file using another program and import that into the movie maker. Hope this helps.

@Fatal4Teen No you edit the pics from the xps folder. When you take frames, all your pictures are saved to a folder specific to that save file. then you edit them.

I just put camera tomy computer, and always, I take picture, it will go to my computer. Then I use wmm (it's best free video editing software, I tried everything...) and perfect. This is good way too! :D
