I learned many pieces by Granodos, Leucuona, Albeniz, etc. An exact interpretation the way you want it, is impossible. We feel each piece differently. I played "Arabuesque", Spanish dance no. 12, Granados, and felt like adding a chord or two that wasn't there, ha ha. I wouldn't dare post it for you! But the way the pianist feels it isn't always the same.

There is nothing Hamelin seems incapable of playing (or memorizing!!), but interpretively, his Iberia cannot even begin to compare with Alicia's.
