  • Some big powerful dogs on display

  • This is how the Original English Bulldog looked before they crossed them with pug dogs to make them much smaller and effectively useless with many health problems, breathing problems jaw to heavily undershot and not able to give birth naturally in most cases. I hate what they did to the great working old time bulldog who was a loyal and solid family and farm protector. The American Bulldog is like the last surviving ancestors of those great dogs!

  • Wushox Kennels is carrying the legacy

  • most of the dogs in this video are on my american bulldogs papers ;-)

  • Check out my abd standard line bully rokko

  • I swear once you own one of these you never go back!!

i hate when people own the because they look tough

i looove mine theyre all raised in the house with lots of love kisses and cuddles and of course lots of FOOD hahhaa i <3 my lil fatties :)

  • Beautiful breeds I have videos of my abd up here on youtube I love my rokko....to bad we have people that used our breed to create these american bullues smh.....what a relative to the apbt and abd smh what a waste smh

  • Not a hostile dog.

  • Charming dogs!

  • The United States Marines didn't pick these dogs as their beloved mascot for nothin'.The Few,Proud and Brave KNOW what a Bad Ass dog is!By the way excellent choice of music!

  • Awh this makes me sad I had an American bulldog but he passed away. :( I miss him.

  • bread a dog fer no good get a dog thats no good ,shelters are full of good dogs, that need homes why pay for a for prophet dog when so many need homes

  • @bigwever or what eve goofy name is....yeah people created the apbt from the American bulldog. Don't get me wrong, ab, is awsome, but.....they created the apbt to be the best fighter of them all! That's why they use those dogs! Thing about it. created the ultimate dog from diff breeds

  • thumbs up if you love your bulldog

  • got an american bulldog black lab mix. glad to see how visible the bully is

  • Just because you put American in front of stuff doesn't mean it is. These dogs are British so are Pitbull's and all the other bull breeds.

  • @RunWhilstYouCan Envy sucks more than Brits on the Queens teat. Modern Brit Bulldogs were "reduced" like the modern Brit Men.

  • @RunWhilstYouCan well said mate they are all english ,, fact

  • American Bulldogs are the best dogs in the world!

  • i have a 3 yr old lab andim gettin an A.B. any advice?

  • @JimmyDaBopper13 get a hines or scott line johnson too heavy and bulky

  • magnificient breed

  • One thing I love about AB's are they're gentle giants.

  • American bullies are the best kind of dog u could own. I no that cuz I have one

  • TYSON!!!!!!

  • I love American bulldogs, but i like the Johnson mixed with Scott bloodline. These breeds have stamina, power, speed, agility and are very loyal.

  • Short muzzle. Useless.

  • @DougWardBlammo Do you even know how much their bite force is?

  • @DougWardBlammo Useless? Useless for what?

  • I have an AB (Johnson type as well) and we named him Samson. He is a great dog and loves my family. I recomend this breed to anyone who wants a loyal strong breed. But I will tell you, this breed is NOT for everyone. You have to know their strength and behavior. My dog can tug all day long if you allow him to. Awesome video!

  • I miss my american bulldog, she was the best dog I have ever had, and is the reason why I rescue dogs!

  • almost all of these dogs are in the bloodlines of my male and female Argos and Rhea i will be breeding in about 6mths contact me for info on pups! there gonna be ELITE!

  • Gorgeous, just simply Magnificent!! Kudo's!! The choice of Orloff for the music is Excellent! As the owner of an Am.BullDog Johnson type, wait he owns me...Not the GREATEST DOG the ONLY DOG!! Bless You!!!

  • Crimson's Elrod... NICE DOG! and Mountain Red Gator, he's nice too.

  • The Johnson bulldogs (thicker, English faces), are now recognized as a separate breed of American bulldog. Johnson took the standard bulldog and used foundation sires to create a thicker dog by breeding bigger dogs with English bulldogs. The Scott breed (thinner, more streamlined) is now recognized as a standard dog. Alan Scott kept the breed as it has been throughout history.

  • ginbla.. the dogs with the English bulldog faces are American bulldogs. Dogs with that kind of face are from the Johnson line.

  • I hate to tell you but these pics of american bulldogs are either mixed with pits are very poor breed ones. I have a american Bulldog I paid 4,000 for him .

  • @SSJSavvy you have to remember that they have all came from a mixture of english/british bull dogs then mixed with mastiffs (american bulldog) or terriers (american pittbull terrier). The american bulldog used to be called american pitt bulldog but the name was changed to avoid confusion.None of these were pittbulls, however there were a couple showing the same type of ears. The best way to tell the differance (apart from size!!) is to look a the back legs. You can tell a pittbull from its backlegs

  • @SSJSavvy well you got ripped off there is breeders out here in MD that charge a small fraction of that and give you all the papers.

  • i have an american bulldog named coach he has a blue eye and a brown eye

  • My An Bull is called daisy :)

  • Those with the english bulldog face are not american bulldogs.

  • why is the same dog have 5 diffrent names

  • Comment removed

  • some look like half american bulldog and half english bulldog. american bulldogs are tall and much leaner. big american bulldogs are 130 but they are lean and large.

  • the american bull dog is the best breed of dog i have ever encountered they are super intelligent and sadly mistaken for pit bulls.

  • Comment removed

  • @roli252520 lmao well alot of people say pit bulls can beat a american bull dog which is ridiculously stupid thats like saying you could beat up your great grand father pitbulls are made from over 7 differnt dogs of selective breeds from around 200 years alaunts an bullinweisers were the 1st breeds to have been noticed for bullying other dogs in the late 1600s they were bread with others for fighting qualities of american bull dog, staffy, bull terrier, an others to make the pitbull we have today

  • @roli252520 plus theres around 380 pure breeds the akc recognizes an over 800+ breeds of mixed dogs in the world pitbulls rank at 85 being that pitbulls were only meant to fight pitbulls theres thousands of videos showing them losing to the 100d list of heavy hitters of different breeds so they rank 85 an there is no #1 Top dog the top 30s all stale mate each other some winning depending on individuality not breed theres no breed alive today that is undefeated

  • @roli252520 pitbulls are the best

  • @roli252520 Only a damn fool would mistake these for apbts.

  • @roli252520

nothing wrong with a pitty ya poostain

  • @roli252520 i thought it was just me that had this problem, but the more i read, its sooo common..and i don't know why..i have a johnson, nd she looks NOTHING like a putty (which i think are lovely dogs)..its frustrating

  • @roli252520 nothing wrong with looking like the 2nd best breed out there

  • it looks like pitbulls

  • hi there our boy is hector the portector who's great great grandparents is johnsons sugar doll 53

  • I have 1 AB, Zeus 1 year 3 months old, 100lbs. He's wonderful with kids, always tries to stand between them and any other dogs- but very socialized and never aggressive toward other dogs. Doesn't like when my older daughter's friends hold the baby, makes him bark like a maniac!

  • if u want to see real american bulldog correct weight correct hip score visit glockkennels currently making my own website

  • actually if you do your research and know the breed the AB is NOT suppose to be over 110lbs or it is WAY too heavy to do the work it is breed to do:)! the johnson's type AB originated in the USA by John D Johnson and even his biggest "yard dog" was 140lbs. but like i said the idea WORKING AB is 60-110 lbs anything bigger just cant even think of keeping up the pace of a working dog..

  • do american bulldogs get along with cats

  • @nuttybar9 like all dogs, if you teach them young

  • Anyone know where Johnson bulldog originated?

  • @flattop44sc Google jdj bulldog origins, also google John D Johnson interview and read his story. Lots of debate about this and that when it comes to bulldogs but that just shows the passion these dogs create in the hearts of those lucky enough to know one. - peace

  • really they are loving dogss and they can hear great

  • Most of those dogs are old bulldogee's dumb ass

    .

  • @castmaster84 YA AND OLDE BULLDOGGE HAVE what breeds similar hmm.... they all started out looking similar then branched off into their own looks so whats your point lol

  • are they good in hot weather? like san diego or arizona?

  • @dcelis96 No- American Bulldogs, especially the more bully Johnson line suffer in hot weather. They'll still push through because they're very pain tolerant, but you would push them towards heat stroke in very hot climate. Given, they're from the hot and humid Southern U.S. - but they still suffer in the heat.

  • I didn't see Stout's Boss Hog in the video! That was one BAD ASS bulldog!

  • I think one thing is noticeble on this video by the resposes its getting, is, just how loyal, loving and friendly the American Bulldog is. I think anyone who has a AB in their family has an extra member of the family and not just a "dog"

  • i had a 6 month old american bulldog.. his name is sudz he is the most loving dog.. it is just me and him at my house but when i have friends over with kids when the kids try 2 go to the fence where the peoples next door dogs are barking sudz trys 2 keep the kids away he makes sure he is in between the other dogs and the kids.. not being mean or anything about it just protecting the kids.. never went after another dog in any kind of mean way... i will most def. be getting more american bulldogs

  • Bulldogs are so awesome!

  • I have an American Bulldog and all of these pictures just make me smile, haha. Such a good breed of dog.

  • @Erictheredd2 me to :)

  • Totally agree with the real deal thing. I just got two new American bulldogs they r awesome!!!

  • ironmantyson what a dog

  • Gibsons Grimlock looked the closest to what most are looking to get the Bulldog back to the nineteenth century dog. Some awesome dogs there.

  • i own an ab (standard) there is no other dog that can match its drive and power...i owned many other working breeds..but by far the ab is immaculate!! BUT NOT FOR THE ROOKIES..know your dogs before u get into the bulls...or find ur self in deep bullshit!

  • What's the name of the song you used?

  • Those are hybrids. The standard is more graceful and sleek. You are showing off pit/mixes.

  • @auctionguyinmo I have an American Bulldog from a bloodline that has been AKC registered for 20 years and she is quite buff and very powerful. Great family dog and would be a handful if we had not had dogs before.

  • @surlybird When you say AKC do you mean AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB?

  • AB is not as big as st bernard but they mostly muscle. i had an ab before he killed fucked up a shitsu pretty bad and the courts made me give him to my old man as he had a bigger garden and better area to keep him. they are lovely family dogs but you have to let them know who is boss or they will try and be the leader

  • not bruiser bruno at 1:55 !!!!

    its Dozer Bruno

  • I own an american bulldog. There the sweetest breed of dog. IF TRAINED RIGHT.! Socialization is VERY important with these breed. The put them selves towards one owner most the time. Other than that. VERY BEAITFUL BREED VERY NICE AND GREAT GUARD DOG

  • @stophorseabuseimmadi me to mate.mine is fab with kids,a beautiful dog to walk and shes the best foot warmer in the world

  • 0:43 scary..

    I love him !

  • I introduced this breed to central Iowa some 18 years ago...nobody had one ...now they are one of the most popular. They have alot of variation in type though still..Camypimp is right about the breed. They introduced a 90 lb English Bulldog years ago and to tell you the truth Im glad they did. We don't need bull catchers these days and the working lines are still out there.

  • good Lord they are huge. They look viscous

  • @carneypimp oeb's aren't scaled down versions of johnsons dogs raised in the ghetto they were developed in the 70's by a policeman named levitt as a way to improve the eb breed unfotunatly ur right the breed has splintered into to many strains for monetary gain I am a 3rd gen working dog trainer and on the whole ab's I preffer and my familys had them since before they were abs my grandaddy used to call tHem those big ole pig dogs LOL no offense intended to anyone

  • Wauw, I love them all. Our American Bulldog Miss Molly is just 8 months old now and still growing. I know now that American Bulldogs are the greatest dogs in the world if the owner have time for the dog and learn them everything and play a lot. But this is a golden rule for every kind of dog.

  • Wow, Handsome Dogs. I just saved an american bull dog from a horrible breeder. Got my dog with a broken leg, ear infection and a skin infection. :/

  • if you don't have 20 year's or more into american bull dog's then don't start talking all the false crap more than half of you wrote on here.. that's how the pit bull got fk up...Respect the dog so we have them in another 30 year's....

  • I have a English Bulldog but these dogs look nice also are they good with kids and do they cost as much as an English bulldog?

  • my m8s got an american bulldog it is a fucking tank lol reminds me of a pig

  • look up R.H Vose on American Bulldogs dated them back to 5ad one off the oldest blood line all bully breeds come from what we call the American Bulldog.

  • realll loyal dogs

  • Really... you should say how "Johnson" bulldogs are supposed to look. The real Southern Whites, or English Whites or American Bulldogs are supposed to be fit for work catching livestock and hogs -sturdy but not gargantuan; muscular but really nimble and quick, and noses that aren't all smooshed, so that they can actually breath easily for scenting game and being able to run non-stop for long days working. The standard is the Scott.

These are Johnson ABs, not ABs.

  • I liked the vid,it's a good tribute to the American Bulldog.Having breed bulldogs,(both APBTs,and ABs)years back,i ll point out that old timers used to call APBTs bulldogs as well, and at one time they were all called bulldogs.different strains were better fitted for different tasks, and so people manipulated them into different breeds, some had a bit of terrier added to them, some had a bit of mastif.Today they are different breeds, yet they'd all catch a bull as they did in the old tymes.good vid.

  • @EDtheIslander You're right about that for the most part. From what I've read on the subject the APBT has only been a distict breed as we know them today since about the mid to late 19th century. The big difference is that the original bull dog or any modern catch type bulldog has to have an underbite and set back "bully" muzzle to help the dog breath when it's teeth were gripping in to hold onto a bull, boar, or bear.

  • @westernhunter38 Funny you mention that. When I purchased my female Alano Espanol pup another breeder pointed out her pronounced underbite(a few breeders in spain are trying to breed the underbite from the Alano).I pointed out that one of my most memmorable APBTs (cuqui) had an underbite, and was second to none in jaw power.Cuqui gripped on to a tree limb once and didnt let go till over an hour later when I walked out and pulled her from it.Definately the underbite is Not a flaw.

  • Are the ears cropped in the USA?

  • @khatanahlya No, they are not.

  • @khatanahlya no

  • @VWGTI4LIFE And you stayed around to watch it. By your logic that makes you gay.

  • 0:56 I love the markings, looks like war paint!

  • Thank you for taking the time to make this vid, I owned an AB for 12 years and just recently lost him. I am happy to be able to see videos like this and remember him. His name was Tyson btw, thank you!

  • Thank you for taking the time to make this vid, I owned an AB for 12 years and just recently lost him. I am happy to be able to see videos like this and remember him. His name was Tyson btw, thank you

  • The poodle used to be a proud and strong breed until some stuffed-shirt wig-wearing faggots emasculated it and transformed it into a show breed.

  • This is so dramatic.

  • These are Old English Bulldogs not American Bulldogs

  • @ProphetGuardian U obviously know nothing about either breed.

  • @neurocytohemotoxic I meant to say some of these but I forgot to put "some". I know full well they all where not all Old English Bull Dogs. Sorry for the confusion.

  • @ProphetGuardian I'm pretty sure all of the dogs in this video are American bulldogs. A lot of the Johnson type bulldogs resemble OEB's in terms of facial structure but they are a lot larger.

  • @ProphetGuardian Old English Bull Dogs are runt Johnson American bulldogs people in the ghetto helped create the Old English Bull Dogs as a means to make a few dollars. Original English Bull Dogs did not go extint. The American bulldogs in the south go all the way back to when the English settled the United States and the (Original English Bull Dog) American Bulldog is the same as it was back then. two types one for gaurding the other for hunting.

  • @carnypimp ok...thanks

  • Why do you like the ultra bully extra heavy Johnsons? I have found they cant catch their breath enough to keep up with the performance strains.

  • love american bullies mines 6 months 3 weeks old and weighs 75 lbs

  • @VWGTI4LIFE hey jackass why bother watching, if you knew anything about bulldogs you would recognize some of the famous dogs in vid. a video has no influence on the breed and it would be a huge service for the breed to keep idiots like u away from them... you dont deserve a bulldog.

  • Ill like to see a American Bulldog stand next to a St. Bernard... (not to fight but to stand side by side)

  • @Elect4Sure ...so would i, especially if you shave the St Bernards coat as short as the AB's ;-)

  • madmick dont mind the bullshit negative comments its a good video of some great dogs i live in ireland and breed these dogs strickly for working or pet ,not show it makes them soft and i dont inbreed either.anyway mean machine is the best or zeke

  • @MADMICKK There are smooth coated Saint Bernards.

  • does it piss anyone else off when youre walking youre american bulldog down the street and some guy says, "Hey man that is an awesome looking pitbull!"

  • @parkerhodge

Yah it irritated me as well but....whatever....after hearing that for years I got somewhat used to it

  • @parkerhodge

F&^%$NG PISSES THE SHIT OUT OF ME. Or nice dog is he a Beethoven dog? Or how bout he looks like the dog from the sandlot.

  • @parkerhodge e time with my shar pei dalmatian cross.. they always friggin ask me is he pit.. Fuck no hes not pitty lol.. Totally do NOT want to be caught with a pit thats an instant death sentence

  • @VWGTI4LIFE way to hate there poodle lover. But take a look at your channel and your comments. You must like being an Ahole..

  • some one wants to trade me in his words " 100 percent pure bread american bulldogs" 6 weeks old for my ps3 he said he has 8 boys and i can pick but my mom is like cruela deville and hates dogs... cant spell her name right but shes the one in the Dalmatians who trys to kill the puppys for their fur lol

  • @melb110 you got it right

  • my neighbor used to have like 40 of these dogs no lie and i wouldnt never buy them they inbreed these dogs so much.

  • Johnson dogs are genetic disasters. They shouldn't be bred.

  • @VWGTI4LIFE

    WTF is "gay"?? LOOOOOOOOL

  • 2 MUCH INBREEDING,SBT IS THE BEST DOG.FAKT

  • Davis bama boy was NOT an American bulldog, it was a pitbull!!

  • @TheDaisyRae That is not a APBT that is a Painter bloodline game bulldog.

  • IT IS GAYISH......

  • i have an american bulldog he is 89 pounds but hes very lazy

  • i have an american bulldog he is 89 pounds but hes very lazy

  • love orff's oh fortuna, love american bulldogs.

there is a lot of variance in the upper lip/mouth area. personally i prefer if the upper lip does not go below the lower jaw line. i prefer a bit longer head rather than a short english bulldog, ugly head:-)

what does the standard say? anybody?

  • ok representing an American Bulldog, a song that is NOT American.

  • ok representing an American Bulldog, a song that is NOT American.

  • nothing wrong with American Bulldogs.....

also what's the name of the song playing?

  • One ugly dog.

  • A poor substitute for a real Bulldog!

  • @Ann3600 What is a real bulldog. Don't even try to say it is one of those little mutts the APBT they are not the real bulldog. Do some history the Scott type american bulldog is closer to the real bulldog than any breed that exist.

  • @carnypimp I have a 4 yr old Pedigree Scotts American bulldog, And he puts all these to shame, I agree do your research and check your History.. :)

  • @TheButtafyngaz Great! I have a Scott type she is awesome and all the bull people say about them is bull crap. My dog has plenty of stamina and will never give up and she can breathe just fine.

  • @carnypimp Yep mine is the same he is full of energy\ never gives in will run\walk for hours on end and he is in perfect condition and very healthy. This is the 1st time i've owned a AB He was a rescue case, and very difficult at the start, but lots of training and been stubborn with him, has made him into the perfect companion :)

  • @TheButtafyngaz Im still in the process with mine she is 8months old and her previous owners only taught her to sit and stay, and shake. This also my first but my aunts AM lived 15 years so not my first time around them.

  • man thts messed up

  • what's the name of the background music? love the pics. thnks.

  • not nearly as good as the british bulldog.

  • i have one hes called bruno there seriously stocky!!!!!!and cute and dosy lol

  • @VWGTI4LIFE ...DAMN BOY,, ive not seen the word "gay"this many times in one sentence... this music & pics places these dogs on a different light . more prestigious which is just where they belong .

  • @VWGTI4LIFE gay, gay, gay. Gay doesn't mean bad, you should probably update your vocabulary.

  • you should subscribe to my channel, I have a 1yr 4Mo old American Bulldog, his name is KANE. check out the vids, nice show by the way.

  • great video

  • @VWGTI4LIFE ....Thank you for the compliments and taking the time to watch it...i'm glad you liked it :-)

  • @MADMICKK

    LOL

  • @MADMICKK

    hahahaha

  • getting a AmBull tommorow

  • If you want a dog that can pull, get a husky. If you want an agressive guard dog, get a German Sheppard or Dobie. If you want a 100 lb dog, get a Rottie or a St Bernard. If you want a show dog, get a Poodle or a Cocker Spaniel. There are still plenty of farms and wild pigs in the South who use "bulldogs". Quit altering the breed! Buy from breeders that are trying to preserve the characteristics of the real bulldog.
