  • 0:50 omg shut up......

  • FLAP!!!

  • great video, love the rain and the B777!! i sub, thump up!

  • What I love on this video is the sound of the rain.

  • Mike matusow is a famous poker player, that is famous for his way of speaking. He is also called Mike the Mouth.

  • I've been in a thunderstorm while in a plane once I was leaving el salavdor to go back to Texas and it was raining while my plane ride back home it's cuz el salavdor has storms everyday

  • nice to see some Europeans flying an american-made jet!!:)

  • That is why 777 is my favorite :)

  • that was BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • Cool video. I enjoyed your narration too. Plane spotting in the pouring rain is great. The noise and the spray...

  • think, nearby tailstrike

  • was this Air France Flight 358?

  • I can't decide which is my favorite between this, the 747-8, the 787 Dreamliner. Also, the 737-900 is right there too! I guess I have to call them 1a, 1b, 1c & so on. The 777 can produce 230,000 lbs of thrust from two engines, and that fact alone really sways me to the trip-seven.

  • French ftites raining from the sky...

  • Where's the thunderstorm? This is nice flying weather - VMC even. It's just drizzling. Do they call this a thunderstorm in Montreal? Elsewhere this would be called a light rain shower. It's only a thunderstorm if it produces thunder (and the lightning that causes it).

  • Nice VDO , Thank you so much for sharing ^v^

  • Gotta say that despite the fact that I hate anything French with a vengeance, this pilot pulled out a cracking takeoff in some serious shitty weather. Fair play to him.

  • @jonnybee48 Gotta give Boeing credit more so - the aircraft did all the work. The pilots just allowed the 777 to build up enough lift to switch on the auto pilot on, gear up, flaps up.

  • @Jarashaw... These are GE 90 not RR

  • love the RR engine sound :D

  • the most boring thing ive seen tonight...

  • @LuvmyDani Look at your walls for a while then.

  • HE'S TURNING. HOLY FUCK!

  • "He's Turning" LMAO

  • V pohodě? To zní česky :)

  • is that mike matusow talking????

  • @teeteto90 i don't remmeber his name but he use to work for the airlines and he has slight redish skin on his face.

Great guy. Would that be his name?

  • @gijoao7 don't think so.. mike matusow is a pro poker player...

  • @gijoao7 You aint into poker. Are you?

  • @teeteto90 lolz

  • @teeteto90 Haha! Right on! He sure sounds like Mike!

  • What a great place to pick up chicks.......wish i'd thought of that............

  • Well you keep referring to them as death traps, and while yes, there are accidents from time to time 'statistically' your still more likely to be killed in a car on the way to the airport. That's why cars came into the discussion, unless you don't remember. Hope you have fun driving your next transpacific trip on a ship that's probably more likely to be sunk by pirates than crashing in an airliner.

  • I've pulled the data published by the relevant aviation and motoring bodies (including TC and European BEA) and from this have calculated that in order to have a statistically higher chance of dying on the roads on the way to the airport than on an Air France flight itself your journey to the airport would have to be 274.2 miles long. That's just over the distance between Ottawa and Toronto. But both of those cities have major international airports, so again your comment is irrelevant here.

  • @billiepipersteeth you're such an idiot. besides, you're obviously some maths nobel i guess. keep on calculating genius. my mistake if my comment is irrelevant...

  • @billiepipersteeth - i bet CanJet airlines is a lot better... just to inform you, that's right there have been a few accidents in the past few years with Air France (2 in my mind actually, flight rio paris and concorde's crash in 2000). doesn't make it a dangerous compagny. what you say is called misinformation. nevertheless, Air France is indeed a bad compagny for services, food and confort. it's getting better on the A380. hope i helped you out a little...

  • Wow you guys are dumb. And yes driving is about 100% more dangerous than flying for many reasons. If your going to fear flying you should fear driving on US roads a hell of a lot more, ask any cop why. But a beautiful aircraft thanks for the upload!

  • @keithacoustic1 Your comment is irrelevant. The subject video features a flight from Montreal in Canada to France. A car is not an option here so relative saftey (no matter how you chooose to gauge it) is not a factor for consideration.

  • @billiepipersteeth Hey jackass no argument here. Im just tellin you. But what does the airline air france have to do with any of this. There pilots should be like others well trained to handle situations

  • @houshidar558 Air France is manifestly relevant here as one of its aircraft is the subject of this video. Regarding Air France pilots being trained to handle "situations" : I suggest you read the BEA third interim report on the crash of flight AF447 which casts significant concern over this point.

  • @billiepipersteeth you're right about the pilots they DID make some mistakes witch unfortunately took lives but just think about how many Air France flights and other flights on planes in general take off a day and they ALL return and land saftley you rarley hear about a total fatality these days.

  • i wud nvr fly on one of them deff traps...did u here wot hapnd to dat won in 2009 en croute from da Brazil?

  • @billiepipersteeth jesus christ, learn to type this isn't a jig saw puzzle, and planes are not death traps they are safer than cars, cars are the real death traps.

  • @houshidar558 I don't recall saying anything about cars.

  • @billiepipersteeth okay? simple statistics you have more of chance dying in the car on the arrival to the airport than dying on the actual flight, so much for " death traps "

  • @houshidar558 See there you go again banging on about cars. The vehicle in the video is not a car, it is an aircraft. Now consider yourself educated on this matter, by me, a superior intellect.

  • @billiepipersteeth you're an idiot, why am i going on about cars? because you are the brainless one calling one of the most safest forms of transportation in the world a "death trap" maybe you're the one who needs to face facts.

  • @houshidar558 Yet again more contextual flatulence from yourself. If you were paying attention you would realise I was refering to Air France. You like statistics?..well, statistically speaking Air France is the single deadliest Airline of the new millenium...deadly much like your knee-jerk unconsidered responses.

  • In kansas we call that a rain shower.

  • Airfrance with a boeing? LOLOLOL

  • Terrific take off !! The triple 7 is the best of all aircrafts without a doubt!

  • wheres the thunder storm?

  • que louco esse e piloto mesmo

  • @deyvson231 que nada. o mais facil é decolar. depois é que precisa ser piloto lol kk

  • Air France doesn't take off. They retreat upward.

  • @MrTdw1954

    1a)

"There have been 53 majors wars in Europe

France had been a belligerent in 49, England & UK 43

In 185 battles that France had fought over the past 800 years, their Armies had won 132 times, lost 43 times & drawn ONLY 10"

GIVING THE FRENCH MILITARY THE BEST RECORD OF ANY COUNTRY IN EUROPE"

    The BBC History

  • @MrTdw1954

    2a-end)

& I'm sure that it was very difficult for the stinking liars English to say the truth & to recognize one time the real superiority of the French LOL

I add that France was often alone vs a big coalition of countries, all the opposite of others countries especially England-UK always hidden behind big alliances & the others countries vs France in Europe & hidden on its island, thanks General Channel ^^

  • @cumbas Wow! I guess they're resting on their laurels after all those victories. Because they've been losers in the 20th century !!! LOL In WW2 half the French Army fought for Hitler and the other half didn't fight at all. What about that little embarassing fact?

  • Yes he's heavy he's probably fully loaded with passengers, all their luggage, food trays, water, wine, plastic cutlery, laptops etc.. Since they're most likely going to France therefore the fuel tanks are likely almost full, so yes, no shit he's heavy.

  • shut up bitch !!!!!!!!!!!

  • so nothing happened?

  • THE ONLY BOEING I HAVE NEVER SEEN IS THE 777

  • The 777 is one of my favourite planes, and with the Air France it looks beautiful *__*

  • Thank god he had that cam right at that moment. Can you imagine if we would have missed that?

  • It's LIGHTNING - without the E!

  • It is not a big deal for such wonderful bird I mean it quite safe assuming pilots knowing what they doing

  • I wanted to see it getting hit by a thunder..

  • @SoYouThinkYouCanLive .....im assuming you mean hit by lightening, correct???

  • @toofreshtoday Right :P Sorry for my English, I'm Greek and it's not my native language.

  • @SoYouThinkYouCanLive Don't worry, those who said to you "lightening" don't know "engrish" either lol.

    It's lightning (without the e)

    cheers

  • love the sound of that rain! :) Thanks for posting this video!

  • IS THERE A AIR AMAERICA?!

  • @meganlovespenguins24 American Airlines.

  • 777....best aircraft bar none!!!!...and the sound from the engines whether it be GE or RR always quickens my heart...lol...not to mention the share sexiness of this aircraft and the wing flex

  • That wing flex is so sexy ;) Thanks for the vid!

  • be better without the douchebaggery in the background screwing up the otherwise melodious sound!

  • @ title and tags

    All caps rage?

  • Wow! A plane takeoff in the rain. Never seen such craziness before. Hahaha! I hope the bacon you were frying in the background came out better than this video

  • @maxp0w3r

Whahahahahahahahahaha frying bacon in your car :p

    Lol

  • Dude, what is that sound in the background? Either it's rain drops bangin on your windshield on your car, or you're frying bacon inside your car. hjahahaha :-) Nice video!

  • Cool engine - not as noisy as the usual aircraft engine. It doesn't sound like it's really in full throttle...

  • 100,000+lbs of thrust sure does sound good!

  • oh my god, the sound is really exciting, good job

  • he's heavy...what do you have scales in your eyes?

  • @nicklking

more like experience and an understanding of how flight works

  • i love the sound of this aircraft...

  • Coisa liiiiindaaaa!!!! Beeeaaaaultiful!!

  • @XxcamurlimxX

Contrail exaust or should I say aircraft anus

  • awezome

  • "He's heavy" LOL

  • People need to shut the fuck up once in a while and just enjoy the scenery and appreciate the beauty of these machines. "he's heavy, he's heavy, he's turning, he's turning." Shut the fuck up!

  • hahaha he said he´s turning idiot haha

  • what is the thing at the tail called? right above the light?

  • You know, the one definitive quality of a thunderstorm, the very thing that makes it a thunderstorm, is lightning - and the resulting thunder. Don't get me wrong, I'll stop whatever I'm doing to watch a Cessna flyover, but I won't post it to You Tube and say it's happening in a thunderstorm. Have you ever been in a thunderstorm? They're really loud, and there are a lot of bright flashes. They're pretty perilous to fly through as well. This is a rainy day at the airport.

  • is there a need for the commentary from by-standers? its moving fast (no shit) hes heavy (no way) i they all turning quickly (omg really)...

like great video though! but avoid the folk stating the obvious lol

  • that's a 777-300

  • such a beautiful plane! I'm gonna marry this plane!lol

  • air traffic control makes 777's take off in the runways that have alot of water the blast from those GE-90's dry the runway :)

  • Man I love the sound of the 777's. Such a unique sound this aircraft has...

  • @Peacefulhumanbeing yes love the sound too

  • @gijoao7 me too

  • @gijoao7 it's those GE engines!

  • @Peacefulhumanbeing the sound depends on the engines. They can be General Electric's engines or Rolls Royces engines

  • @Peacefulhumanbeing Indeed! :) And now all our boeings and Airbus A380's sound like that too ;)

  • @Peacefulhumanbeing this awesome sound is only available with GE engines. Rolls Royces sounds different.

  • @Peacefulhumanbeing its the GE-90 engines lol raw power to you

  • BUEN VIDEO AMIGO!!NICE VIDEO AMO ESE AVION!!:-)

  • thats not fair......you should have atleast offered an umbrella to the plane...it had to takeoff in rain...poor plane

  • "It's moving quickly too" NO DUH, ITS A PLANE ON TAKEOFF!

  • Nice video!! excellent location...

  • What airport is that? Perfect for plane spotting. Kai Tak in Hong Kong had a similar road running right next to the runway.

  • @trent8002003 MOntreal trudeau. thanks

  • @gijoao7 I see. No wonder Air France sends its big birds there. Thanks.

  • @trent8002003 Montreal Trudeau Airport

  • @gijoao7 Merci beaucoup!

  • @trent8002003 kai tak is closed...

  • @fofabo Who said kai tak wasn't closed?????

  • @trent8002003 you said that Kai Tak has a similar zone to film the planes, but can not be the Kai Tak because it is closed and therefore no aircraft landing

  • @fofabo I said Kai Tai *had* a similar road running right next to the runway. That's in the *past* tense. Indeed, Kai Tak had such a road right next to the runway. I should know cos I frequently went there to spot planes. But again, that was in *PAST* tense. I was talking about the old days.

  • @trent8002003 ok sorry...

  • @fofabo No worries.

  • @trent8002003 I LOVE YOU

  • @fofabo I love you too!

  • so kool nice takeoff like the water

  • Probably the best vdo of triple 7 I've ever seen! Good job! Btw i love Air France new livery.

  • Very nice filming. Well done and nice follow through.

(I would rather be in an AF 777 than an AF A330 (or any AirBUST) in those, or any inclement conditions.)

  • @onecunningfox amazing that air france would buy anything from boeing

  • @lakeerie90s

Yes because AirBUST's are made in France. But no, because Air France is a company and they need to buy waht is best and most reliable - regardless of the pressure AirBUST and the French government put on them. That is they are responsible to their shareholders and no one else. So you buy the best, the most efficient and most reliable. That is Boeing and it always will be (although everyone has their problems).

  • wow one of the best take off videos I've seen :)

  • Nice vidéo, keep up posting vids like dat...

  • @flygwada971 thanks alot check the others under gijoao7

  • best sounding engines

  • thanks
