One of our favorites! We watched the webcast of the vicar placement and call ceremonies this past week from CTSFW and this hymn was sung in Kramer Chapel. Spine tingling!
An Episcopal/Anglican viewer here.I was wondering, do you contemplate some formal ministry or mission in the Lutheran church? In any event, continued good luck with your studies and best wishes for future success.
Great job! Our church just got the new LSB hymnals. I didn't know this song is in it. My friend (on piano) and I are playing a couple hymns as preludes for the Saturday services. I'm going see if maybe we can do this one next month. Our symphony just did The Planets too...love the tune!! =)
Very nice. A few points: keep an even tempo--at points you accelerate for a brief time and then slide back to the old tempo.
Also, your voice is a bit weak on certain higher-pitched notes. Try to support more.
Finally, one camera-angle can help focus the viewer on the words being sung, but it sometimes tends to look like you didn't put much time into the production. You could zoom in on the instrument, grab a shot from a different angle, or even just try a face closeup. Other than that, Good!
Thanks for playing this song. you did well. i know you might be done with seminary by now but good luck and God bless

Really nice how you can hear all the words and so elegantly simple. I am not a lutheran, but I wish we would sing this hymn in my church.

I LOVE this hymn. My daughter had it sung in her wedding two weeks ago. Thanks for the heartfelt, simple rendition.
