second of all some words can't be translated because there are no englisch words that would mean the same thing.

I've laughed my ass off the first time I saw this on tv, and untill now, it's still very funny! The point is, that it's only funny when you understand Dutch I guess. And when u appreciate the kind of humor. Some jokes are just less funny if they've been translated or subtitled this way.

There must be more Kate Bush fans per square mile in Holland than in any other country. I've noticed that a lot of the rarest Bush material on YouTube has come from there. So I reckon they've earned the right to parody Kate. And Tineke Schouten is a great clown!

I didn't quite like it. Choreography is atrocious, while in Kate's performances it's an expression of herself. Also the text ain't very funny. The idea for this parody is too simple, it's on a too superficial level as if this woman didn't understand Kate at first place.

No, it's mostly that in the Netherlands comedy is watched very differently then in ie the USA. Your not supposed to love very hard at every joke, just the really good ones. (this for me as a Dutch man makes watching USA comedy rather annoying becasue the aduience just keeps on laughing at everying the comedian say. But that's cultural differnce I guess)

I don't think you have to be Dutch to like Tineke Schouten's parody. It isn't different in spirit from Pamela Stephenson's more famous one, "England My Leotard". (But maybe you have to be European to get it, I don't know). Anyway, I think it's witty, and Ms Schouten has some graceful moves, even if some of them remind me of Olive Oyl.
