Man.. Think about it. Jane was just as sneaky as Anne.. Only smarter and well, much more self respect. Karma though, right. And destiny. Henry8 is a pig though no matter how you look at it..
i think that king Henry was horrible to ann bloyen and he did't care about her at all also ann bloyen was the best out of the six wives and i feel sorry for ann for people calling her a horr and getting her head chopped off
wow such a good actress. she has fire and vivacity and charisma! i love natalie dormer as anne boleyn. i was disappointed when i watched the other boleyn girl, natalie portman was way too whiny and somehow insignificant to be anne boleyn
I wonder why so many hate Queen Jane. Queen Anne did the exact same thing to Queen Katherine without a hint of remorse and AB fans use the excuse that she couldn't ignore the king, the risk to her family, etc. Well the same applies to Queen Jane! Yes,Queen Elizabeth was a good ruler but she had more than her fair share of good luck and PR,too. All these women suffered at the hands of King Henry.
Hate how film and tv portray Jane! Yeah right she was sweet and innocent it was all a scheme for Henry to notice just like Anne! The Seymours were just as competitive and power hungry as the Boleyns Jane would've been raised just like Anne.
@AnahSkywalker i agree. she played anne at her own game. And Jane may have given henry a son and an heir to the throne..but never forget that Anne gave him something better than a son...something another man could only dream for...Elizabeth.
Hate Jane. Love Anne. He was only buried next to her because it only made sense. Catherine of Aragon died and their union was annulled. Anne and Catherine Howard died in disgrace with their heads cut off. Then Catherine Parr and Anne of Cleves out lived him. So Jane (also who gave him a son) died his wife and naturally (more or less)
I really like Jane, to me she is kindness and goodness personified. Anne was just an ambitious woman who wanted to be the Queen of England. She thought that Henry was always going to favour her and her family and she felt betrayed when she noticed Henry's interest in Jane, but it was not jelousy out of love for him. Jane didn't deserve to die, she was so generous, kind and loving...
This was a very good video. You obviously took the time to show the rise and fall of each character. This show is so wonderful with one of the most well put together casts of any show I have ever seen!
katherine of Aragon: Duty.. Anne Boleyn: Lust and a son.. Jane Seymour: she was the opposite of anne and he still hadnt gotten a son.. Anne of Cleves: he didnt wanted to marry her when he finaly saw her.. Katherine Howard: Lust and a second son.. Katherine Parr: somebody that took care of him untill his dead
elisabeth was annes true revenge, if she could have seen that she would have laughed so hard, you cant compare jane and anne, and you cant see this serie as the truth, read some books with true facts about this and you will understand, henry didnt love any of his wives, in those times it was 1 out of 1000 they maried out of love, henry wanted a son, thats why he was burried next to jane, she gave him the son he wanted.. and i dont know if some of you notticed but jane did the same as anne

Anne/Jane/Henry is one of the most ruthless examples of karma ever. Anne wore her locket with pride in front of Queen Katherine and showed absolutely no sympathy for her in Season One. Now here comes Jane, playing her own game against her and rocking her locket, too!
@balenguer Are you judging by history or the tudors? In real life Katherine was considered one of his most beautiful. She was also the most intelligent and dd a lot of things when Henry left her as regent. Including fighting a war. The most known Queen of England is Elizabeth not Anne.
@Missprincessxxx1 At the end of the day, Jane gave him what he wanted and felt he needed most. A son.....if he loved Anne so much...why did he hack her head off...then never even move her to an appropriate grave site? I doubt Henry loved anyone besides himself.
Anne Boleyn was" better" that Jane....because she made the difference...she always spoke her mind...no man's toy....that is a woman...I do not say that I don't like Jane.. she was good...However I don't like the comparison between them ..Anne is the devil and Jane the sweet angel...They did the same thing..with the difference that Catherine's marroage had come to an end long ago before Anne's appearance...
anne loved henry truely and i think there was a time when henry also loved her honestly... but the wish of havin a son had more value than their love...
@xxbaby89xx i am not sure anne loved henry at all, there is no eveidence of that and she was incredibly ambitious, it might have been a clever pretence.
Jane was really the best of all the wives..only a true lover would tell another woman to take care of the husband, after her death..true love is generous and kind...all that Jane showed to Be.There arent many women like her..in ter time.Maybe no one in fact...i like to think that Henry and Jane are together in peace now. Finally together as they should in real Life.
Of course she was good wife. She was a perfect example of the way women stood by their man during their time. She didn't care whether the king cheated on her because she knew she wouldn't be able to do anything at all. She was completely loyal, faithful, and submissive like how all women were suppose to be back then.
But I liked Anne the most because she had guts and she spoke her mind. She was a different woman in her own time that many would have thought was daring.
@mmmmmvodka I can't agree that Jane Seymour was the perfect example of the way women should have been or was...or whatever. She was weak and had no value - that might sound harsh or whatever but it's true. Anne Boleyn was the perfect example if anything because she wasn't afraid to stand up for herself and to her cruel, egotistical husband. She was ambitious, intelligent and strong-minded; everything Jane Seymour wasn't.
@Mrstrohj You just agreed with me. Jane was the perfect example of how women were treated back then. They were weak and didn't have much power. What I'm saying is that she was the perfect example of how women were suppose to be back then. Women now these days, are not like that because of the different views on society.
Anne was not an example of how women were back then. And that's why I liked her. BUT, she is the perfect example during these recent times.
@mmmmmvodka I get what you're saying. Women were submissive back then and some are still to this day and I'll say that Anne Boleyn was not the perfect example of how women were but she was the perfect example of how women SHOULD HAVE BEEN and the way they should be now.
@Mrstrohj she was perfect for HIM at the time after all the drama he just wanted a bit of peace and quiet after the fiery anne- thats all i meant actually.
@evaperonfan yeah I suppose but that is because he expected too much from love and marriage and i think it is tragic in a way. sorry if i sounded a bit weird! but in ways i totally agree
Seriously, people. There's no need for disparaging comments about Henry or his wives. They were human beings living life the way they wanted...just like everyone else!
I like them BOTH! Anne is the opposite of JAne: Anne has dark hair, JAne is blond - Anne is full of fire, Jane is shy - but they both loved the king and the king loved them!
Well the difference between Anne and Jane is in my opnion. Anne tried to get what she wanted through screaming and shouting...But Jane tried to get what she wanted through making henry think he was the one who wanted it not knowing it was her. I hope you understood what i mean. My english is not that good :-)
I was surprised to learn from Wikipedia, that Jane's mother, Margery Wentworth, and Anne Boleyn were actually first cousins. The world is a very small place.
@finnishgirl1987 No it's not. Cousins married cousins, for power and money, nothing surprising about that. In those days it's was one of the possibilities to make your house more powerfull. Sleeping with the king would help to, of course!! So one way or another most houses were connected by blood.
Very good vid. Shame that Henry was noted in old texts to have gone a little strange after the jousting incident, maybe thats why he lopped of Annes head, instead of just anulling the marriage and sending her off to a convent, maybe if he had been sound in body and more importantly mind, he wouldnt have been quite so drastic.
Lovely music, it really fits the vidz very well... I went teary at Jane Seymour's death scene.. It's unfortunate that Henry had Anne beheaded all because she couldn't give him a son to justify his cruel deeds...
I like Anne, even though she's not in the next season. Maybe it's because i like the girls who have attitudes in tv shows. She just seems more like Henry's equal
I think that Anne was probably the woman he wanted for his queen, her mind as sharpe as his, but it was that same free spirit that captivated him, that was partly Annes undoing, She didnt learn to hold off kept pushing Henry, Jane herself was warned by Henry to keep out of his affairs, he reminded her of what happend to Anne difference was, unlike Anne , Jane heeded the warning.
This video is so amazing. I rarely watch a Tudor music vid twice, but I seriously watch this one all the time. The music is in perfect sync for the power struggle between Anne and Jane.
