this is roughly where i was standing, maybe i was a little further back, but i was close. i won my ticket on dermot o'leary's radio 2 show, & got 4 tickets for each day. they were meant to be vip tickets, but when i got them, they were standard, but at least i got to see some of my alltime favourite bands. i sold to spare tickets to the touts outside, but they only gave me £50 for 3 tickets to day 1, & 2 for day 2, but at least it covered my trainfare.
I was there and I felt the same. The whole event seemed to lack any real passionate atmosphere and instead had that of a "this seems like a pleasent day out............darn that rain"
I think the rain really put a damper on things, but then again day before it was mostly sunny and the crowd was still fairly quiet. Plus on the Sunday the vast majority was there to see Aerosmith (certainly I was). Anyway I still had a blast, took loads of photos, now I'm trying to see if there are any audio bootlegs out there!
the rain was fckng pissing me off. I couldnt take proper photos and clips cos the rain. The bloody rain ruined my phone and camera. I was very close to where you a recording this. cheers
I was just behind and about 5 metres to your right. An amazing concert. I only booked it for Aerosmith, but he's converted me to listen to some of his music. He was amazing!
this guy rocks one and a half hours in the pi***ng down rain, not a foot wrong a true performer (god didnt it rain) one of the great concerts of all times and we were there, there is a god.
