I am in the U. S. T-Mobile.

So we too won't have the dual video camera (on the front, for Skype video calls, for example) and we also won't have the 3.5 mm audio port.

What a drag.

Also, the keyboard looks different.

Skype mobile doesn't support video calls - does it?

I had read on some blog that the Webcam in the front does support web calls via Skype. But whoever posted that may have been mistaken.

The big issue from the carrier's point of view is that Skype type services would cut into a carrier's business, allowing users to avoid charges, so I could see a carrier blocking one from being able to use Skype or any VOIP service.

But we all know the answer to that, hackers would figure out a way to make Skype video calls in no time. :)

that is awesom, now they added a headphone jack to the touch pro 2, cuz the first prototype unlocked version didn't have one, so this just makes me want it more!!!!!

HTC has started to put their own symbol on phones in certain markets... this is the Telus version - it's CDMA (the only version with minidin 3.5mm connector) and he is obviously using it on the Telus Network (see name on the upper left hand under the start button)

This guy doesn't know much about HTC phones... you need someone who is a solid HTC user to talk about the strengths and benefits of TP2 over TP. I am glad they took that damn chrome off - that is only going to flake and look bad like the Sprint version did after a month of use. one drop and bye bye nice looking exterior.

It is kind of shiney... looks like aluminum! :) I absolutely hate shiney stuff (me personally.) I also think the shiney chrome looks too much like a flippin' iPhone... and no disrespect to iPhone this isn't a damn iPhone.

telus version comes in a graphite finish so chrome isnt set in stone for the final US version.

ya im starting to think that too, but i personally like the black one, cause u can see the keyboard better, and the back is better, the silver one has an ugly back, but it has the chrome which i like alot...but atleast we'll be the only country to hav an 3.3mm headjack on the TP2.
