they did but i think that in the end they agreed on jeff getting credit for the melody part and the slides and everything and then jimmy got credit for the rythem part (bolero parts)

Seen Beck play about 8 times, Page at least 10 (inc/ tour w/Plant). Johnny Winter about 10 times

Beck is a guitar master. If you get a chance to see him-- DO IT!! you will never look at other guitar players the same way afterwards, I promise you.

Page is a genius who added an entire chapter to the history of Rock. Led Zep's accomplishments in recorded music will take years to be fully understood. They were the first band to topple the Beatles in the MelodyMaker poll -- for good reason!

Twin icons. Beck is an astonishing player and Page was god-like in his Zeppelin prime producing the most emotionally powerful and moving playing that rock music has ever seen (didn't hurt that Page was surrounded by three equally gifted geniuses in Led Zeppelin).

Yeah, it's true - he can barely hear. He has tennitis (ringing) so bad that he wears a white noise generator when he's offstage (it helps to cancel out the ringing frequency). Word to the wise - repeated exposure to LOUD music will do the same to anyone. I lost the hearing in my left ear for about 2 months (always stood stage right - stack to my left), now I have mild permanent ringing. Put your finger in your ears and it gets LOUDER. Joy.....
