Would this work with my shoulder length hair? Since your hair is super long, it might weigh it down more which would make it straighter, but would my hair be a bit puffy still since it's not super long? D:
This method wouldn't work for my hair. I have tried many different ways people have told me but none of them work since my hair is just so curly. I understand it works for you because every one has different volumes of curly hair. When I let my hair dry naturally not putting a hair dryer to it it calms my hair down a bit and doesn't leave it so curly but that's only if I keep brushing it with a wide tooth comb as it dries.
i tryd this I used the same product but my hair came out really puffy and got wavy and come parts curly after, like 10 minutes any ideas? Btw my hair is really curly maybe its just too curly for this method... :(
@Trucy97 My hair IS curly, and it doesn't MATTER if your hair is curly or straight. It works for everyone. How can you say it doesn't work, when I just did it right in FRONT of you, lol.
@bambiieyz if my hair was as straight as yours is naturally, I wouldn't need to straighten it. You have no idea what its like to be cursed with CURLY hair!! when I get out of the shower it looks like I just went and got a perm with bouncing curls and it sucks!!!
Are you using the Body shop paddle brush????? I bought one ever since I started watching your videos and I LOVE how my SCALP feels after using it! :D - I feel like I'm getting a good old scalp massage and plus my hair feels SO sleek afterwards! Yayy for paddle brushes!
I love this, I had a fan back home but I don't have one here, so I'm gonna hopefully get one from Walmart or somewhere....I actually LOVE this method, I also used to straighten my hair with a fan back home and my hair would look SO shiny and voluminous! It wouldn't get really straighten but that was probably 'cos I didn't hold my hair as taut as you did....
@MsHelga91 My hair is long too, so when hair is longer, it pulls the curls out and leaves it straighter... if that makes sense. You are right - holding it as straight as you can makes a BIG difference! xoxo
@bambiieyz It totally does! The funny thing is, when I'd wake up in the morning after having straightened with a fan, my hair would look REALLY straight, lol. Yep, it's much easier when hair is longer because the force of the brush and the cool air drying it works together with it. xoxoxo right back at you! <3

But I don't get find any detangling spray and GARNIER FRUCTIES FIBER GUM PUTTY in the market.I have just find a live on serum named LOLANE and also a hair control nourishment liquid named LIVON.Can you pls tell me what can I use instead of spray and fiber gum? I am eagerly waiting for your suggestion.
@jobyrox101 Not really..... I'll tell you what's tedious. A blowdryer, a round brush, 15 sections of hair, 1 hour of heat, and aching arms. I'd rather just sit in front of a fan!
* WATCH MY VIDEO TO HAVE BEAUTIFUL, SHINY AND DEAD STRAIGHT HAIR IN UNDER 5 MINUTES USING JUST RUBBER BANDS THANKS FOR READING THIS IT MEANS ALOT TO ME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *
@brittn2112 Heat protectant does NOT protect hair 100% from heat as you may think... you are still damaging hair using heat. Just like using SPF does not protect your skin 100% from the sun... you can still get a sunburn or tan.
@bambiieyz Well I recommend using the conair spin air brush. ITS AMAZING! Its a rotating brush that blows warm or cool hair super safely! There is a protective even heat technology to prevent burning! it takes about 5 to 10 minutes to dry! It also gives you the option to straighten, flip in or out, and more! Its ionic too! It is available at Walmart, Target, and amazon! Also drug stores have it!
It's so funny how those with curly hair, wants straight and those with naturally straight hair, want curls. Personally I'm so tired of my curly hair that I might just shave it and get a wig...
@Bastarden that's because Curly haired people generally have frizzy hair whereas when they straighten their hair it becomes less frizzy (at least for a bit in my case lol), but Straight haired people, can have non-frizzy curled hair. I know someone who has wavy/curly at the ends type of hair, and using curlers makes it straighter!
@CheerleadingGirl1221 Sure you can dry your hair with a blowdryer on cool, but the reason why I used a fan is because it works BETTER & FASTER! (and I don't like holding a blowdryer)
It's easier and more efficient to just use a blow dryer with the cool setting. Both my best friend and I tried your method (and we both have very different hair) and it made mine tangled and frizzy and just made hers frizzy. Nice try, though I won't be doing it this way again.
@SwedishWALIEN Hello Sweden! (I know a bit of Swedish...) well I used to have curly hair to my shoulders years ago... it might work, not sure, but I think others girls with short hair have done it!
I think this technique is really neat but just wanted to tell you that your hair is the most brittle when it is wet. Brushing it so much when its wet might increase the chances of your hair breaking:/
@YellowFlower321 Except I'm using a PADDLE BRUSH which does NOT damage hair. I just wanted to tell you that. You have it partly right, only a THICK BRISTLED BRUSH is what damages wet hair. I did this 2-3 years while I grew my hair to my butt. So you see, IT'S OK TO USE A PADDLE BRUSH ON WET HAIR.
P.S. For girls going to hairdressers, don't let them use a big, round, thick bristled, boar brush on your hair as they are blow drying it -- this is damaging.
@bambiieyz omg ur idea is sooo smart! does this work with collarbone-length hair? it's pretty short...also the tips of my hair tend to flick up after i dry them, do u have any advice to make them not flick up? is this cause my hair is too short? thanks:) happy new year!
I ahve frizzy wavy hair and I dont like it. anyone know how to get straight hair without straightening it? Its becaue I got highlights in my hair and I cant straighten it cause the color might come out of my hair. any tips?
gonna be honest, thats gonna help your hair dry a little straight, but no one is someone with super thick, curly or frizzy hair going to be able to get straight hair.
This took me a little longer than i thought it would but worked perfectly! my hair has honestly never looked healthier! I used a little more conditioner but thats it i used your method and my hair came out awesome! Its not thick and I dont have the awkward waves I usually have to straighten out!! Im gunna do this instead of straightening my hair all the time so I can grow out healthy shiny hair! Thanks!
@bambiieyz my hairs supeer thick too sooo shouldd we section it off into more sections ? like youu had two sections , should we do four ? or justt keep it as two just like how you hadd it ?
Can i use a heater instead of a fan? the air is blown out just like it would out of a fan, it's just warmer air... it might not be as healthy, but will it work?
Does it go frizzy when in winter due to all the water in the air? And does it curl when you sweat? Because I don't really want that. I want my hair to be straight at school during winter and during p.e thank you, I will try this
@thesims3luver Actually, it doesn't. Now that my hair is healthy and strong (and not bleached anymore) it doesn't really frizz up. Well, if I'm really sweating like if I'm running maybe just a little, but only the parts that are touching me! My hair was frizzier when I was in grade school, and I LOVED P.E.!!!!! Especially rope climbing, the big parachute thing, and all that stuff!
i have tried this method a good 8 times and my hair always turns out tangly and only partially straight. my hair is definitely thicker than yours. If I used a detangler beforehand, would that make it softer and not tangled?? Are there any other suggestions??? thanks!
@iroquoisprincess YES PLEASE USE A DETANGLER! That's why I use a spray-on conditioner. It conditions without weighing your hair down. There are TONS of detanglers on the market, but I choose to use Johnson's No More Tears. It's made for babies, so it's very gentle on your hair!!!
@bambiieyz OMG!!! I used the detangler and I am soooo happy I didn't give up on this! It really does work! I am impressed and surprised and will be doing this method forever! SOOO EASY!:)
Im sorry but you have a slight curl... This will not work for someone with really tight curls, ive tried it..and dont tell me im doing it wrong...i guess it depends on the type of hair and thickness.
@luvbuzzen well, it does work. it works for me, and thousands of other people. if it doesn't 'work' for you, then you did it wrong. if you give up after trying something one time, then you must not have any patience.
@bambiieyz : thnx ...... now imma go out and but myself a paddle brush .... ps: i really like ur eyes .. can u please do a few eye-makeup tutuorials ?? <3 love <3
@bambiieyz : thnx ...... now imma go out and but myself a paddle brush .... ps: i really like ur eyes .. can u please do a few eye-makeup tutuorials ?? <3 love <3
A couple questions : My heair is probably up to my sholders or a little shorter (not much) , would it work with my hair ? Also, I am Italian so my hair is naturally thick and curly , could it work on that ? I don't wanna use heat because I am trying to let my hair grow and heat just kills it but I don't like my natural hair short because it's so curly and I straighten it everyday . Please Respond , @Bambiieyz ! <3
@jbcrazy2240 I got your message, lol! Yes it should work as long as you can clip back most of your hair and do the bottom first. It may be harder if you have layers, but good for you for not using anymore heat! Give it a try, and good luck!
I am black and puerto rican and if i let my hair air dry its a huge, frizzy, curly mess lol. Yesterday I tried this and i thank you sooooooooooooooo much for discovering this!!! My hair is pretty and as straight as it would be if I straightened it as normal. I used to blowdry and straighten it every other day. My hair is sort of damaged but i'm sure it will get healthier after using this technique for a while. Again, Thank You so much!!!

i have tried this method a good 8 times and my hair always turns out tangly and only partially straight. my hair is definitely thicker than yours. If I used a detangler beforehand, would that make it softer and not tangled?? Are there any other suggestions??? thanks!
iroquoisprincess 2 months ago
@iroquoisprincess YES PLEASE USE A DETANGLER! That's why I use a spray-on conditioner. It conditions without weighing your hair down. There are TONS of detanglers on the market, but I choose to use Johnson's No More Tears. It's made for babies, so it's very gentle on your hair!!!

@bambiieyz OMG!!! I used the detangler and I am soooo happy I didn't give up on this! It really does work! I am impressed and surprised and will be doing this method forever! SOOO EASY!:)

Im sorry but you have a slight curl... This will not work for someone with really tight curls, ive tried it..and dont tell me im doing it wrong...i guess it depends on the type of hair and thickness.

luvbuzzen 3 months ago
@luvbuzzen well, it does work. it works for me, and thousands of other people. if it doesn't 'work' for you, then you did it wrong. if you give up after trying something one time, then you must not have any patience.

jbcrazy2240 3 months ago
