  • At 5:40 you can see the emotion on her face so clear..She is overwhelmed..As we all were..Amazing vid..Blessings to you for sharing.

  • "So pleased with a daydream, that now living's no good. I took off my shoes and walked into the woods. I felt lost and found with every step I took."

Makes me cry every time. Such beauty and meaning.

  • It`s just so beautiful. So so beautiful.Amazing. This song always makes me cry.

    Conor is just amazing.Amazing.

  • just when I feel so lonely..he makes me feel even more lonely.. but in a good way

  • @10sup10 yeah.I know that feeling.

  • ahhh you were so close. I was all the way at the top. So glad he played this song. Awesome video.

  • He really needs to come back to Bright Eyes and quit that nonsense about putting it to rest.

  • @forgetthepast100

Your comment makes your name incredibly ironic...

    I'm down with TMVB.

  • i was there....

  • we were lucky!

  • @NicksterMarsh im curious how much did you pay for those tickets?

  • I get shivers listening to this song.. especially live. The emotion he puts into his songs live is outstanding and really lets you know it means something. :)

  • we do too...always will...that's my wow at the end...

  • thinking a lot of people love him-

  • Conor Oberst-He sings beautifully, plays the guitar beautifully, writes the most beautiful lyrics, and can perform it beautifully. Is there anything he can't do.. His voice is too perfect, it's natural and he can sing like there is no tomorrow. I'm glad that he doesn't use all the voice editing in his recorded songs like a lot of artists do. It makes him even more perfect.

  • thanks for the great comment.

  • thanks. great comment! the couple behind us wished it so much that it became a dream/reality thing. we wrote it for them cuz we had such a magical night

  • god, that was beautiful. SUCH a talented guy.

and, ahem, would you reveal the secret as to how to get him to play at my wedding? ;)

  • so bummed I didn't get to go to this show.

    would have been amazing.

  • This is my favorite song of the album.

And he was playing in who's wedding?!

  • love it

  • Macs rules. and so does oberst.

  • beautiful.

  • i just found divlix. have a look. they are trying to keep the divx format alive, which was crushed and vanished quickly. i love your stuff.

  • This song is so beautiful, and this performance also SO beautiful. He's so talented; I just love his writing. I think he said in an interview that Mike Mogis did all the string arrangements - how talented is THAT guy too, huh??!!

    Wow.

  • Oops - wait, I guess it's Nate Walcott who did the string arrangements for Cassadega, huh? Sorry! Getting mixed up between the interviews I've watched as a fairly new fan. Well what do I know? - Just a happy listener wanting to say "WOW!" - Anyway - they're all AMAZING musicians.

  • it really was. have a listen to strings on "make a plan..." vid.

  • damn this guy writes good songs

  • I listened to this whole album a lot while my mom was really, really sick. This song reminds me of her tremendously. Cassadaga, in my mind, is the best album he has produced. Go Conor! And the LA Philharmonic!

  • why must we debate the particular merits of his appearance?!

is this about hair style or talent & musicality?

  • Your a hollow shallow person, how sad.

  • good god. this is absolutely beautiful. p.s. I dont think I have EVER been to a bright eyes show where some guy doesn't shout out "ILOVE YOU" before every song hahahah, annoying but definitely justified.
