you where recommend by a blogger to me {greeneyespinknails} and I'm so glad she did. I'm doing my own nails now instead of gels and I find this so helpful. THANK YOU!
Great video and tips! I had a few of those products you talked about, but wasn't too sure how to use them. I picked up that cuticle remover yesterday and I LOVE IT! My nails look really nice and it's worth the 15 min to do my nails myself instead of the salon. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! I've found some on Amazon.com & one on Ebay, but actually found Amazon.com to be cheaper this time. The reviews are great & it sounds like just what I need. Thank you again for pointing me in the right direction! :)
@tntlegal You know what, I think you're right. I bought mine a long time ago but this is ringing a bell. I believe mine IS crystal, so thanks for reminding me!!!
Thank you so much! My nails tend to peel & are flimsy no matter what I've tried & the files I've tried, mostly drugstore, leave the edges rough even after the "finishing" side is used. This makes my nail peel worse. So far I have tried both the Sticky Base Coat & the Seche Vite Top Coat you have recommend with fantastic results & since you have become my "Nail Guru", I was hoping your favorite nail file would be just as great. Thank you again for your help & videos!
@tntlegal You really made my day, I am so happy to hear you like the items I've recommended! I think the glass is the smoothest, and it really seems to make my nails stronger.. less pieces coming off
Very helpful, thank you. This time of year and thru the winter, my nails are horrible, they crack and peel terribly. I'd appreciate your advice. Thanks!
Ever since I watched and learned how to clean up my mani from your earlier video, people in general thought I always had my nails done in the salon because the finish is so perfect! Thank you so much for sharing your mani tips with us.
Awesome video! Do you have any advice on preventing bubbles in your polish? Also how long do you wait between coats and where can you buy CND that's not for professionals only?
@chanel113 That's a good question, my instinct is to say to apply the thinnest layers possible so there is actually no room for a bubble! I don't really come across that issue often. I got CND at a beauty supply in Chicago
My main problem is filing my nails it makes me cringe so I let mine grow till they annoy me then cut them with clippers and then just file them with my crystal file to seal the ends :0) xxxJoolsxxx
@aLoveTart That is the problem they are too strong, I have started using Leighton Denny's Hydra flex to give them a drink so to speak so they are a bit more flexable, now if i catch them wrong they snap and usually low down and it is so painful so I am keeping them short for a while now plus it is easier to type lol
heck my nails wouldn't look that good if I tried...my nails are so thin and flimsy that nail polish never lasts...i have used tons of hardeners/stengtheners with nothing improving my nails...i am currenlty wearing the gelish polish...my nails haven't broke or ripped at all
where can you buy the stickey base coat? I've never seen that particular base coat. I also do my nails at home so I really liked the pointers in this video :)
@kpaez50 Aw, I'm glad you liked it! I bought it at a local beauty supply when I lived in Chicago. I think you should be able to find it online, it's by Creative Nail Design. The quality was blurring, but after it's been processed, it should be better!
Love the color

Tis me again... I've been pricing the OPI files - all I can find is "crystal" file by OPI. Is that the same thing as the "glass"?

@BarrysDaughter You must have strong nails! I find the filing strengthens them, making sure the edges don't get flimsy :)
