As someone who works for Maplin, and youre someone who used to work maplin you should know that when ure asked to leave you should do so without causing a fuss or making an ass of ureself. He obviously had his reasons. Considoring you work there you should have known.....

If u don't like Maplin then don't go in it's as simple as that! I personally love Maplin even though some of there prices are expensive. To be honest the only place to get most of the stock they carry is on the web so comparing the two prices is irrelevant because your paying for the building, logistics and the staff so if ur willing to wait 3 days for it to be delivered the go for it but if u need it today then where else are you going to get it?

Im guessing as your both ex employees and have a considerable amount of beef with the store manager, im guessing you parted on bad terms?REASON!. No way is your cam chest high unless your a midget (no offense to any midgets reading) and also if he hates being confronted by people he should a) not be a store manager which involves confrontation everyday b) if he had no issue with you two, why would he risk confrontation with you at all?As watto says, a very biased video from a bitter ex employee

the thing i dont understand is that, you say the guy didnt give you a reason but in the film he goes to give you a reason and you keep cutting him off, i also like how you have your face blurred in the film but your more than happy to show the member of staff

Cant say i like the place,plus once wanted a refund on sumthin but found it a hassle to get money back,,and yea expensive moody ppl

@freeforall9 thats a lie, they need the address to track who is a repeat "returner" as it was, understandably if you have a problem with a store, have a go at the store not the company and dont spread lies about them, and it all depends on the person behind the till, i personally will not put someone on the mailing list if they say theyre not interested, i cant however vouch for others.

@Yamamoto771 Well considering that most of the employees are sales assistants, it's their job to come and ask you for help and greet you at the door. It is a bit irritating but to complain about it is pure ignorance. I'm sure they hate having to pester everyone that comes in but a jobs a job.

The refunds policy is a strict one in Maplin though. If it isn't opened at all and within 28 days then no problem but as soon as cracked it open you'll end up breathing smoke trying to get you cash.

@Yamamoto771 Policy on returns is 28 days no quibble ASLONG as you have retained the original packaging and receipt and is in a resalable condition, they dont want crappy stock left that no one will buy and i cant blame them for that

@watto1 i did nouthing was an ex employ of the store went in to say good bye to everyone before i moved to the USA and i was with the ex assistant manager and he told us to leave and we were banned from the store even tho both of us had been in and out of the store since leaving. If he gave a reason why then i would of left without question and i know they dont need to give a reason.

@stoop69 i wasn't sneaky with the filming at all had my SLR up chest high pointing at him if he didn't notice it then that's his fault. I left because i had enough of the shit he was pulling and felt like he was forcing me out of a job. The reason i covered her face was a request from her, she was the assistant manager and was threaten by the manager more than once and the Sale team leader that was gunning for her job was up the managers arse. thank you for not being like the other 2 comments
