Where in Genesis 4:12 does it says, Cain will "never be able to make settlement".  The preserved King James version says "When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth." When God says Jehoiakim will have NONE to sit on the throne of David, He is saying that his son will no longer be king and the same will go for his children, they will NOT take the throne and instead his uncle Mattaniah who also changed his name to Zedakiah will take his spot since he is not inclusive in Jehoiakim's offspring.
