@EpiclyEpicNC I'm not at my PS3 or PSP, so I can't check from the actual PSN store right now. But I did a little digging and it looks like it was added as a downloadable title on January 15th, 2009. So it should still be available... unless they removed it from the store.

@EpiclyEpicNC Hehe. I understand. =D It's probably the least known of the series. You actually have to backtrack on this one in order to get all the items you need to fully win the game. You get some really interesting stuff in this one... even a floating shield that you can ride to reach previously inaccessible areas. But this game is insane hard! I think it's the hardest one in the series. I've finished the others... but not this one. XD

@EpiclyEpicNC Oh yeah! There are at least four games in the series. Ghosts 'n Goblins was the first.  There was also Ghouls 'n Ghosts, Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts, and this... Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins. I don't know if there are more. I know there's also the Gargoyle's Quest and Maximo spin-offs.

@EpiclyEpicNC I think you're getting this game confused with the original Ghosts n' Goblins. Ultimate Ghosts n' Goblins is a different game that is only available on PSP. And it's available on UMD (the PSP disk format... I know it exists because I actually own it... you can also check Amazon as I'm sure they still have them for sale). As for if it is available as a download title, I have no idea. I've never had the need to check because I have it on disk.

Anyone thinking its easier or dumbed down should try it. Yeah you can take more hits but its way cheaper than even the originals. Ultimate has the 2 hit rule like the originals an I don't think I finished even the first level on it. lol

Pretty good overlooked game though. I beat it an give it a thumbs up if you can stand the cheap deaths.

I'm skeptical of your "No Death" run. At the end of stage 1-1 you have the blue armor 3 hits, and knives. But you load into 1-2 with 2 hits, grey armor, and the spread shot crossbow. You used different clips. xD

Not every game is for everyone, and if you enjoy easier games, there are also people who want games to require efforts, otherwise they'd feel like watching (bad) movies.

Many (if not most) of the games nowadays are way easier than older games, but don't forget the subject game is Ghosts 'N Goblins. It doesn't matter when a game of this series is released or for which console, it is always more than enough dificult to make most gamers trow their controls, UMD, CD, DVD, cartrges, consoles and/or their own heads on the wall

PS.: I LOVE THIS SERIES!!!! THIS GAME WAS THE REASON I BOUGH A PSP.

This game looks like a cross between the Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis versions. In the Super Nintendo version, you can double jump, while in the Sega Genesis version you can fire your weapons up in the air.
