Just prior to singing this song, she spotted her former Dad and Mom-in-laws (from the late husband Alexander Fu Sheng)in the crowd (audience) and greeted them. The sheer sight of them reminded her of everything past and drove her to tears.
In another interview she also mentioned that of all her songs this (我家在那裡)is Fu Sheng's favourite.
