I used to see a herd of them when I was about 5 years old (about over 50 years ago) in Battambang near Phnom Kro-Peou ( Crocodile Mountain). My dad told me they were K-ting. We had many of them. I think the war killed them or they ran to Thailand or they were hunted down and eaten during Khmer Rouge. During the 60's they were proclaimed as extincted and people is forbidden to hunt them.
thanks 4 sharing. i used to live in cambodia and i don't really know detail about khmer but this open my eyes.i love my coutry unimaginable.i have relatives live downthere.even im far from cambodia, but i never forget the place that give me birth.
After watching the entire episode, part #1 thru part #5, I have great respect and admire David Adams' work. It is very informative. I have learned interesting things about Cambodia. I guess I call you the great explorer of Cambodia for the 21st Century. By looking at the landscape, Cambodia has a vast majority of land that need to be developed. Of course, it'll take some times...Good job David Adams!
Probably the last video I upload for a bit until I can get my hands on the "Digging for the Truth: Angkor Wat" DVD. Hope you guys enjoy it and make sure to spread it around.
